So recently, about a week ago, the 8th grade ended for me and in that time, I ve seen a lot of my previous best-friends going to parties, movies, etc that I m not invited to. Most of these kids are going to different highschools anyway, but it sucks because I wonder why I m not invited to these things. I mean, we are still friends, right? Even if they go to different schools I can still always contact them and hang out but I m scared to ask because I don t know if they like me anymore. Any suggestions?

So i have this friend... Shes really nice and sweet, but she never talks. And i have known her for almost 5 years now. Its not that she is incapable or anything. I have heard her talk on occasion and she uses such big words i cannot understand her even with my own above average intelligence. She was in a car wreck when she was 7 and saw her parents die. Is there any chance its emotional trauma or something else. I have heard people talk about being so smart you are "stupid" I don't know if this is a thing. The hard part is that she has a beautiful voice and i tell her so, Shes not insecure in anyway because i can text her and she tells me everything. She just wont use her voice. Is there maybe some kind of underlying mental illness? Is there anyway i can help her?

My guy friend of 5 months has recently, within the last month, started telling me he loves me and believes I am the one for him....yet, a few weeks later and he is now distincing himself from me. He takes hours/days to respond to my messages, etc. Within the last four months, he always asked to video chat, said he misses me, have long conversations throughout the day, left me good morning and good night messages, etc. But now, he only texts me 1-2 times per week for only around 5 minutes total. He suddenly leaves text messages 'hanging' without saying "goodbye/talk to you later.." I asked him what was wrong and he replies with "nothing". I asked if I am bothering him and he says "no never." ....So for a guy who "loves" me....why all of a sudden he seems to have lost interest in me? He doesn't remind me of his love for me and he seems to be distancing a lot. I know he is NOT seeing anyone. He is for a fact single. And I know I have not done anything to make him have second thoughts about me.

Before that when we were friends she told me one she got $10,000 in tax returns which idk how she got she doesnt have a business and only had two jobs last year. Let along she found a credit that's bot in her name and used it to buy a camera.

So i love my best friend, i truly do. But if something happens that makes her look bad, she blames it on me. My room is across the street from her house so i can see her walk outside and stuff (not stalking at all!) My parents are making me go to some stupid summer camp for the WHOLE summer if I don't get straight A's and/or B's by the end of the school year. I tell them that I really try to achieve good grades (which I do), and I spend hours stressing about it, but they don't seem to listen. How do I explain to my parents that I really don't want to go to summer camp? They haven't signed me up for summer camp yet, but time is ticking. What should I do? I really need advice..

Me and my friend have been friends for while. We even call each other "sisters". But around early April or late March, I have noticed that she was very clingy to me. It was starting to get on my nerves. Before I had to problem with it, I didn't even notice it. Maybe 2 weeks ago, we got back from a birthday cookout party and she wanted me to stay over. Yet every Tuesday I spend the night at her house so I'm thinking that's enough. So I wouldn't answer her until she just said, "Mom just take her home". She got upset and didn;t even say bye to me. She even cried a bit. But I was so relieved when she got over it quick. And I was glad I didn't stay over because I didn't want to. But I was invited to go to Connecticut with them. And I really want to go because I live far away from Connecticut. The only thing is that I will be with her for a whole week and I don't know how to do it. I have two very good excuses not to go but no matter what I say I just can't tell her because she will get upset. Another thing is that she and her family are getting a ranch and will be making millions of dollars and me and my family are invited to live with them. There will be so much on there but if I say anything about her being clingy and me wanting space she might say "YOU CAN'T STAY WITH US ANYMORE!". She's way too fragile. Don't get me wrong, I love my friend to death. But is it wrong to was a break?

I recently reconnected with my best friend from high school on FB. I haven t talked to her in years. But I miss her so much! I tried to friend her about a year ago but she didn t respond. I figured it was because she was new to FB. I tried to friend her again and sent a msg along with it that said I missed her but would understand if she doesn t accept. So, she accepted it. And I told her thanks, but she would never reply to my messages. But she did like a lot of my photos. Weird that she isn t speaking. So, I put a post on her wall that said "I miss you," and she didn t like it, and hasn t responded, and she hasn t posted anything else on her page, so my post is kinda sitting there awkwardly. We have a lot of mutual friends who all see it too. Is she trying to tell me she doesn t want to be friends? WTH?

One of my friends has started hanging out with a very exclusive group and has stopped talking to me and another friend when hes around them. He doesn't so much as smile or wave at us. I'm fed up with it but don't know how to handle the situation. My friend thinks it'll work itself out over time even though it's been almost a year (progressively getting worse). He talks to us on the group chat, but he won't so much as smile when he's around other people. I worked really hard to become friends with him and he knows that. I doubt he realizes how much this has been impacting me, but I'm still hurt. What do I do? When I say I worked hard to become friends with him, I mean that it was hard for me. I have a really hard time putting myself out there for people, but I did for him. We became pretty good friends. I want to tell him how I feel, but I worry that with that, he would only start talking to me more because he feels bad. I don't want to bend over backwards to keep a friendship alive if he won't put in the effort on his end.

I'm 14 years old and deal with depression and anxiety. My best friend friend Rachel is the only one who knows that. We've been friends for a year and a half and best friend for 9 months. We started to grow close when my anxiety got really bad. Our friendship has been amazing until about 2 mounts ago when she started to talk to this guy more and more. About a month and a half ago she told him she liked him and he said it back and the became official a week or so later. I'm really happy for her but it's getting between us. Our conversations went from being really fun and intriguing to boring one word conversations. Whenever I bring it up she shuts it down. I want to talk things through but she doesn't let me. It's not all her fault trust me I know that. My anxiety makes me really insecure about every friendship and especially with her I get kinda clingy. My depression makes my emotions unpredictable and it's hard. I don't know what to do but I really need help before we stop talking all together. I really need her to help with the depression and anxiety and I know she has a life outside of me but that doesn't mean she can ignore me for days or even a week. Ehh... my father called me fat and it really hurt me, people always made fun of me all my life, and yes I am overweight but I am dieting and exercising every single day so I can be healthy and in a normal weight. I really liked food and I ate. Not too much of course but I ate. Since three days I have lost my appetite to food because my father called me fat and looked at me as if I was the most disgusting creature on earth. I got sad and whenever I wanted to eat something I remembered his words. Yeah I know this is so stupid but what can I do...? Since three days, the first day I ate an apple, peach, some grapes, I ate a carrot and drank Lemmon juice that I made at home, and I felt like it was too much. The second day I ate an apple, peach and drank lemon juice. Today I ate an apple and drank lemon juice only throughout the day. Is this okay? I don't know I feel weird because this is unusual. I usually eat normally but what happened? I don't know. Oh yeah and since this started my stomach kinda hurts. But I don't feel like eating anything. Is this ok? What will happen if I stayed like this for at least 2 weeks? I'm not really hungry even if I see food I don't feel like eating.

I have one daughter age 7 and the neighbors have five kids all ranging from 3 to 10 years old. They start early in the morning knocking on my door wanting to play. We get over 20 knocks a day and it is driving me crazy that I put a sign on the door not to knock when we are eating dinner or it s to early, etc. It works with the older kids but the 3 and 4 year old don t know any better. Which brings me to my next issue, my daughter is 7 and your 3 and 4 but they come over anyway all the time, they ride their bikes in the middle of the road in front of my house, etc. I have know idea who is suppose to be watching them and constantly feel like I need to be telling them to get out of the road. My daughter stays on the side because she is 7 and understands. They constantly want to come in to play so I ve limited it to only 2 friends at a time but the issue with that is then the others knock on the door every five minutes and then will cry on my front porch. I ll tell them to go home and play inside their house but they say they can t! I ve heard from other neighbors that the dad works third shift and the mother works first so he is sleeping during to day! I am at my wits end but also feel embarrassed to talk to them about the kids running around the neighborhood with no one watching them! The other issue I have is them asking for food all the time or when we leave they beg to come with us. I just don t get it and don t know what else to do besides the note on the door and limiting friends that can come over. Just to add how bad it is...the other neighbor that also has one child and has the same issue band them from coming over the rest of the summer...Should I do the same? I like to have friends for my daughter to play with but there has to be boundaries!

Someone on the internet has been lying to me and I've known for months but I've done nothing of it. This person I met like a year ago and they've only told me one thing that's no doubt true, their first name. So I was fine with that until they told me they were on this dare app. I was like oh I wanna play too so then that's how I found their last name. They didn't know that. After that, some of the stuff he started saying became really fishy so I wanted to fact check some stuff. I found his Facebook and it seems as though he's been lying about relationships, orientation, friends, etc. This means everything is a lie. He continues to do this and it irks me to no end so how do I actually say something with out ruining the bond?

This school year is over in a week and im fearing a really long , depressing summer . So basically i had this group of friends all year and i had alot of fun times with them . They would always include me and i was always there for them no matter what . They were for me too . But lately they are all terribly excluding me . I feel like the friendship is forced . They do things with out me , plan things right infront of me and say i cant go , they dont even check up on me or message me first anymore and basically , no one goes out of their way for me like they used to . But when i see them in person they act like normal . Ive tried making things right but they ignore that . I'm 16 and a girl and I used to have quite a few friends but now I only have one close friend and in school when she's not there I just hang by myself. I try to talk to others but I don't know what to talk about. How can I be more fun and interesting? Honestly a huge pet peeve and it happens whenever I try to do something. So it's summer break, getting very hot here in Michigan 90's. My friend invites us (our friends) over for a pool party. We are like which day works best for everyone? I say "any day but Monday because I work 2pm-10pm all day pretty much." A couple other friends say yeah I'm free Sunday but not this and that day. So we decide on Sunday. Fast forward to today, my mom's like "do you wanna go to lake today with the family or are your plans today?" I'm like "sorry I have plans." My mom leaves off and then my friend says he can't come today, and another one says yeah tomorrow works best for me, and everyone is like yeah yeah. I'm low key HIGH key pissed right now you don't all say one day and then change last minute to the day I pacifically said I can't do. Now I'm stuck home alone in 90° weather while the rest of my family is out and my friends doing their thing. I say I can't do tomorrrow and now everyone is ignoring my text. I don't wanna go off because you know it's not my pool but still and the friend who's house it's at is free today!! But moved it because everyone else made her. What should I do. Am I wrong for being pissed off right now?

When school starts up again, I will be in this class, that I had to audition and interview for (made it the second time), and I worked really hard to get in. When I found out I had made it, I cried...but we have had a few meetings and activities in the last few weeks, and no one has told me about them until it's almost too late, or is too late to RSVP/Attend. I missed a meeting and was able to go to one activity. Apparently there was a group text, that no one added me too, even though they all have my cell phone number and I just feel so left out. I texted a friend and asked her to let me know about future events and she told me about the group chat and then added me to it. I was apparently supposed to RSVP for something two weeks ago and I'm afraid, I can not go to a beneficial workshop, because I'm left out. It's the kids that run everything, and I wish it was the teacher... I did email the teacher, but it's summer, so I'm not sure when she will see the email. I can email the person in charge of my schedule next year and ask to quit the class, but I'm not usually a quitter and I don't want to be known as the person who quits... only two people in the class have actually spoken to me, and I'm shy, so I don't know how to be friends with these people. I don't want to give up, but I feel so out of place and left out.

There's this girl that I used to be best friends with that I now hate. All she does is talk about people (including her "friends"). She does this but is all talk. The minute you confront her about it she either denies it or tries to act big. She just doesn't stop. I had 3 classes with her this year. I've got into it before with her and I've even slapped the **** out of her because she went too far before. But here's the thing. After a while she'll always try to be cool with you. But still talk about you. She'll try to be friends, hang out with you, be cool with you, be cool with your friends and then she starts something and it happens all over again. I'm already going to arrange for her to not be in any of my classes. How can I get for her to keep my name out of her mouth? And also avoid her and never speak to her again? I just want for her to act like I don't even exist . Never speak of me never worry about me & what I'm doing.

I have a friend. Idk whats up with him but him and i like to smoke bud and i always smoke him up. Everyday i would share bud with him and he gets bud too but then when he does and i ask him to share a bit in he only gives in about like almost nothing worth. I tell him he should put some more but hes always saying he wants to save for himself and makes lots of excuses to go home after we smoke and he never just chills when he said he would. i dont think he likes me because i ask him to play games with me and he asks who is on? The point is i always gave to him and never really recieved much of anything from him. He doesnt show any interest in me because i always have to start the conversations and he never does. I feel like im being used because the only time he wants to hangout with me or even think about hanging out with me is when i ask him to smoke weed. He makes up all these events in the future how we would go and have a fun time somewhere but it never happens. he puts me down like he says some things like "you dont know lots of things and its funny" as an insult and it really hurts me. Help me guys i want to get rid of this friendship but i dont know the right way to do it. Should i just straight up tell him to never talk to me again? Or just never hit him up and never give him attention again?

Right now I'm sitting outside a bowling alley waiting for my friend who is one hour and a half late. I'm really starting to get frustrated with her because every time she's always an hour late. For an example one time we were planning to go to the movies at 11 but she shows up at 12:45 and that made us miss the movie. I also have other things to do and I don't wanna keep waiting for her. I know the girl for about 1 year, we communicated not very often, but still I felt we have a good connection and some common interests to talk about. she already invited my to her wedding ceremony and I've been to her apartment 2 times. I'm 15 and I make music videos, like lots of other teens. Twerking and belly dancing is usually involved in the videos. It's just for fun and I'm confident with my body. People tend to bash on people who make these videos. My parents don't care what I do online really . Here in Canada (and probably in the US too) lots of girls make music videos like that. One other girl who's about 12 years old wrote about it saying it's none of their business what we do. Someone told her people need to care because it's their business and that it is everyone's business because all of us are still kids. I mean, they're not our parents to tell us what we're too young to be doing or what we need to stop doing I get that there's 65 year olds who prey on 10 year olds etc. and it's fun to make videos of yourself and talk to other kids .

All the guys who have ever tried to get with me , had a chance but they decided to get super close to me and then label us as " bestfriends " but for me the bestfriend label is just that , bestfriends. I wouldn't become bestfriends with someone unless I knew for sure I wouldn't see us becoming more than bestfriends .but they don't seem to understand that and still try to descend into that area

So my 2 other friends and I have been quite close although they know each other for longer and better. Sometimes I almost feel like a third wheeler between them because they're always laughing together and I just smile then when I say something they just pretend I'm not there and when they see me being slightly silent they just laugh it off and do something silly to cover it up. It honestly sucks and they are nice but don't involve me in most things. Do they even like me or do they find me boring?

I asked a guy friend of mine who I am technically "talking to" if he was free this weekend on Thursday. I invited him over for dinner Sunday (today). He texted me yesterday apologizing, thinking he missed it because he thought I had said Saturday instead of Sunday. After I told him the correct day, he said he would have to check and see if he'd have the car (he shares) but he would let me know. Hours went by last night with no final answer and my family HATES anything last minute. I ended up telling my mom to forget about cooking because it just wasn't fair to her to keep waiting to find out how many people she needs to cook for. He is not the type to blow me off or make excuses, he's just a very last minute/go with the flow person. If he texts me today finally saying he can make it, is it wrong of me to say I made new plans and we're going to have to find another weekend? I feel like it is common courtesy to get back to someone at a decent time, especially when family/adults are involved.

Usually I'm not a person that goes out with friends often. I'm pretty closed person. Whenever I go out with people, I don't talk much, cause I feel like I'm annoying and I just don't know what to talk with them. And it's not with people I don't know. I play in a theater since i was 14 (I'm 18 now) and the people that I play with sometimes go out on a dinner or else, I go with them, thinking this time would be different from the others. I started driving lessons two months ago with two girls and a boy. I only knew one of the girls, cause we went to the same school, until 8th grade. But since then we haven't talked much to each other. On 9th June was our driving exam. Everyone passed and the other girl decided to go out on a bar to celebrate our liscences. I was wondering whether to go with them or not, but I though it would be disrespectin not to. And i also thought I would have more things to talk with them. But I should have remembered that during our driving lessons, I didn't talk much with them. So, I went out. The three of them talked a lot, and I felt like a stranger. I had no idea what to talk with them. I wanted to, but I didn't know what. That happens every time I go out with people I know or even friends. I'm a guy. Someone that I've been close to for years now is my friend Jill. We met in middle school and now we're sixteen. We hang out all the time, we have similar interests and the same sense of humor. I think she's really opened up to me and trusts me now. She's always over at my house and has told me personal stuff. I dunno that she has a crush on me though, I haven't gotten that vibe. Like I think we're just friends. So the other thing is that she has really huge boobs (Not a creep I swear...they're just kind of impossible to miss) and she was talking the other day about the curses of being 34 DD (lol) like how running is such a pain and how they get sore after school and she just wishes she had someone to massage them for her. "Like a close friend, you know? Someone I could trust with seeing me topless, touching me." But then she suddenly broke off, and changed the subject. Okay she got pretty flushed as well, which is odd cause she's such an outgoing and confident personality, it was strange to see her look awkward, almost shy. Is it possible that she meant me? I know this isn't the best place to ask, but it's not like I can go anywhere else for a problem that isn't so serious. I'm 15. I'm entering 10th grade, and I like to be alone. I'm an introvert. I REALLY like to be alone, but most introverts have a few close friends, right? I don't. I stay in my room, but I'm perfectly happy. The only people I consult with about anything or interact with during the summer currently are my mom, dad, and brother (technically my gma too) living in my house. I don't even have online friends. Other people my age are hanging out, going places, and making friends. My problem isn't that I'm not doing that. It's the fact I have no desire to. I know I lack emotions. Love for friends. Love for family. The ability to miss people. The ability to feel lonely. I don't like people either if that means anything. I just don't understand why I am like this. Is it a problem? Am I really okay? I tend to get stressed and really sad about school. I'm in the STEM program if you've heard of it. Pretty sure I have a 4.0 right now if that gives you any insight. I talk to people at school, but I easily feel embarrassed, think too much, and don't enjoy being with people, but I like being around people (Know it sounds weird. I find people interesting.). And being friends with someone and keeping contact is nothing I want to do. ~I'm aware how lame this sounds. It doesn't sound serious, does it? But I'm serious.

I barely remember, but I woke up and I was being held down face down and something was going in and out of my anus. ive known my best friend since i was 3. we went to the same school and have always been friends, but we didnt get really close until 4th grade. and we were close in 5th grade, too. unfortanuntley, that was the last year of elementary school and we were going to different middle schools (6th and 7th grade). we were excited to be at the same school again in 8th grade and i was sure we were going to reunite and stuff. i had full intentions of hanging out with her again this year, however, we havent talked much. we dont sit together at lunch, and i dont understand why, i see her with other friends and i feel bad about myself. like i feel like she was tired of me and wanted new friends. ive been over at her house twice this year and its been kind of awkward. there will be points when we are really into something and are almost back to normal, but then itll go kinda quiet again. for some reason i find it easier to talk to her brother (also my brothers best friend) than her. i dont really know why we drifted apart, and im too nervous to say anything about it. what do you think happened? i miss her. im always sort of the back wheel of all my group of friends, and when i was with her that never happened. do you think shes tired of me? i feel like we were closer when we went to separate schools. we would see each other every once in a while and talk about everything. now its kinda weird, like shes used to not going to school with me now and she wont start again? the past two years she invited me to her birthday party, and this year im not sure if she had one, because i didnt go. i texted her happy birthday and she replied thank you, but im not sure if she had a party this year and im scared that she did and didnt invite me.

So my friend is living at his brother's house, two story if that helps at all, because his parents kicked him out of the house (reasons such as the fact that he is not allowed to hang out with friends, he has to stop working at certain part-time jobs and I guess my friend was tired of those things etc.). My friend has two part time jobs and is a college student, paying tuition with his own money and his family members understand that he does. His brother, since my friend does work, makes him pay monthly and i believe certain bills which adds up to $500 per month. Is this a normal amount?

I'm 21, in college, I'm a guy. So long story short I met this girl, (let's call her Hannah) one day. She's 11. She'd been ditched by her friends and her phone was dead, so I ended up giving her a ride home, and her Mom treated me like some kind of hero, and later asked if I was interested in babysitting. So now I see her all the time. We became good friends. She opens up to me now, talking to me about school and boys and asking for advice on stuff that I don't think she talks to her Mom about, asking me not to tell her, like how she wants to go to Planned Parenthood...still not sure if I should break my promise on that or not. Cause she really trusts me now. Sometimes she falls asleep on my shoulder or calls me late at night. Like we talk as much as I do with some of my closest friends now, and when I mentioned her to my cousin, he misunderstood at first, and was like "Who's Hannah, huh? You gettin' some?" And I was like "Dude....no." Yeah don't worry it's nothing like that, like I don't think she has a crush on me or wants to date me or anything. Sometimes she'll come downstairs in her towel, or ask me what I think of certain outfits, but she's got a boyfriend. (Or whatever you'd call it at that age.) But is it weird or creepy to have a friend or close friend who's younger? Like, in sixth grade? It's pretty much the exception not the rule for me, most of my friends are early twenties. What's the deal with Hannah, anyway? Any advice?

I m just trying to understand whats wrong with her. this is a super long story but i m going to try to summarize it best I can. I live with my parents, my boyfriend has his own apartment. I m in college trying to save money for an apartment which is why I m living at home still. I m not moving in with him, I wanna have my own space so its taking a little longer to fund it all on my own, also I just graduated college a couple of months ago. anyways my birthday was the other day so my boyfriend decided to treat me to a day trip to florida. my little brother who's only 20 went to florida for a WEEK with his girlfriend so I didn't think it was gonna be a issue for me to go if I only went to florida for one night. so I asked my dad if I could go to florida with my boyfriend and he was like " yeah, just don't bring home any babies and don't do anything crazy, I trust you". anyways so once me and my boyfriend got to the hotel, I called my dad to let him know I got there safetly. couldn't call my mom because she doesn't have a cell phone, plus she was at work. couple hours later I get a billion missed texts and voicemails. my dad texted me saying "mom is going crazy, said shes going to find your boyfriends house". she even had my aunt calling and texting me "your mother is VERY hurt, can you honor your mother like the bible tells you and respect the curfew of 12:30. your mom is planning on driving to his house and knocking on his door" I called my mom and she was like " tell that boy to bring you home right now or there are going to be serious consequences. you should not be spending the night with a man and you are not married. I cannot believe your dad would sneak behind my back and allow you to do something like this. that's not the Christian way to live. I cant believe he would give this man an opportunity to sleep with our daughter wen I got back home from florida by dad wasn't even mad at me, he didn't lecture me or anything. my dad was like " I trusted you to come home safe and sound but your mom went crazy, she was calling everybody in the family, cursing left and right, we had to track her down because she hopped in her car to try to find your boyfriends house". my mom has a history of physically abusing me so I was kind of scared to come home to be honest, I told my friend about the situation & my friend said she was worried my mom might hit me too and she told me to text her if things got out of hand so she could come over. luckily my mom didn't hit me, the only thing my mom said was that I couldn't cook for my boyfriend anymore. she said if I cooked for him again she was gonna break us up.

They shouldn't be allowed inside congress.

Me and my bestfriend have been together for 4 years now. We would do anything for each other. But i feel like our friendship is getting boring. She's always busy I can't talk to her as much. I feel like I don't love her as much as i used to and I don't care as much. It's not like i want to but it's just because she's so busy im just going with the flow and lonely. I told her and she said that she wants me to stay but maybe i should go. Does anyone have any advice to help?

I have severe social anxiety to the point where I am mostly mute in public, ever since kindergarten. I don't talk to teachers nor classmates. In high school, I was still "mute," but talked sometimes when asked. Mostly, I nod or shake my head. I blew up so many chances to make friends and I still don't even have a friend. I remember some classmates in h.s. were nice to me, even though I was a weirdo. Like they would get a textbook for me when I didn't have one. When graduating h.s., a classmate came over and asked me to take a photo with them. That was nice of them, even though I never talked to them. In college, I had partner work for assignments. I was less mute as was in high school, I talked when asked and talked when I needed to, but still can't have a conversation. One of my classmate was nice and asked "how are you" every time they meet me in class. I asked them back and pretty much, that's it. Most of the time in class, we were quiet (awkward silence), while other pairs talked to each other and have fun. They tried to get me to converse with them, but I just can't (I really wish I could talk with them, but social anxiety...). They asked me what I was doing on my laptop and they told me what they were doing, I was like "yeah." Even though I was quiet until the end of the semester, they still tried and told me an interesting thing they learned in their other class. All I did was nod, even though I wanted to say "that's cool." It just didn't come out my mouth.

I have 2 best friends, Emily and Kaitlyn, but they were Best Friends first. They live in the same neighborhood, share great memories and always come to eachother first. Sometimes they forget about me and act like it's just them. Kaitlyn is becoming better and inviting me into things and helping me through this but Emily always decides to take pictures (while I'm there) without me, and decides to one up me into showing that I'm not a good enough friend. I have fallen deeper and deeper into depression and I keep overthinking our relationship. I realize that Kaitlyn is not really the problem but she is consisted in the situation still. Should I stay friends with both of them? And if I do leave them, what other friends will I have to be able to talk to? I just want to be happy and I don't want to be a 3rd wheel in their own friendship

I've just invited my best friend to go to a theme park with me this summer but we don't have an exact date on when we could go yet, my best friend has kept on telling me he would like to know when we're going to this particular theme park so he can request timeoff from work, I've told my friend to go get someone to work for him so he could go with us, then my best friend got so annoyed with me talking about us going to the theme park to where he decided not to go to a theme park. He also pissed me off because he and another friend of his went out of town together and didn't even bother to invite me, I had even offered to pay his way in to the theme park that I want him to go to and he doesn't seem to show or feel any appreciation towards my kindness and it really hurts. It also hurts me that he takes his other friend a lot more seriously than he does towards me and shows more favoritism and respect towards me instead of me.
