I am happily engaged, so trust that I am over my ex and have been for a while. I'm the type that realizes life is short and I like to make sure people are happy and doing well. I don't like to have bad blood between me and anybody, not even my ex's. Back then, he basically left me for somebody else, but that wasn't apparent until they actually got together 2 months after he left me. They ended up having a child together. A while back, I found his girlfriend's IG and at first, there were plenty of couple photos (her page is now private, by the way) and then after they had their son, the photos became just either their son or her and their son or him and their son, none of her and him anymore. For some reason, his cousin and I still follow each other on IG and because of that, his new IG showed up in my "suggestions" on IG. Jokingly, I follow requested his private profile and he accepted. I was kind of surprised. NONE of the photos are of him and her, just of him or of his kids. He doesn't mention her anywhere, but i know they're still together. Why does he feel the need to hide his girlfriend? I get the feeling he hid me, too. Before we had really broken up, he deleted all photos of us from IG. |

I had been overweight almost my entire high school and even when i was an okay weight i isolated myself. I have no patience for some one who can't keep their **** together emotionally... What a horrible couple of weeks I've been having. I have no patience for impatient people. In my current book, give some one an F bomb, get one in return... I'm an adult...I don't need the extra stress/ pressure of some one losing their **** on me for no good reason, being impatient, short with me, temperamental. It's improper to load that onto another adult... we all have stress, pressure... Telling some one to calm down should be enough... especially when it's over something stupid. |

I'm not sure what to do in this situation, I understand that he's helped out a lot by letting me move in with him, but at the same time why can't he take the same hit I've taken for him before? My taste in men appears strange to people in my social circle. My ideal height range for a guy is 6'0-6'4 with muscular physique 200-250 pounds, which is fairly large but smaller than me. Being a very tall large woman, is part of my identity and who I am, so I prefer being with a guy whose slightly smaller than me, but still considered tall and muscular for a man. But even though I like being taller and bigger than the guy I still like him to be stronger than me and able to protect me. I am a medical lawyer, and the men I go after have jobs like, personal trainers, bartenders, or entertainment related. I am aware this is seems very different but to me, I have a serious professional life and a guy with a more social and energetic lifestyle balances my life. These type of guys suit me well because I strongly prefer casual non-monogamous relationships. On top of that Im 34 and go for men in their 20s and I am also a woman of color who is from another country but I go for white American men. I gave it like 3 months until I tried to talk to him again, but he eventually ended up blocking me. I was heartbroken and couldn't understand why he would hurt me like that. Add to that, that I was going through a very hard time, since I was sick with anxiety and panic attacks. He knew this, but still blocked me. So I decided to email him a couple of days ago, using a fake email account, and told him everything that was going on with my mom, who has cancer, and asked for his advice for how i can make it up to god, because I agreed to go to church every sunday and i didn't. I mentioned that he did know me, but started to hate me, and stopped talking to me for some reason, and that if he knew who i really was that he would probably block me. He emailed me back and told me that god is not punishing me and that i shouldn't feel like it's my fault. He then said in the end, "hate you? Who are you?" I replied to him, telling him that he really hurt me in the past, and that i was afraid to tell him who i was out of fear that he would block me. I said that I didn't want to get upset and cry in front of my mom. I said if i tell him who i was, if he promises that he won't block me and at least explain why we couldn't be friends, so i could get some closure and move on. And I told him that i hope that we could be friends again... because I think that his friendship would really help me deal with my mom's cancer. He hasn't replied back yet, but I believe that he called me the other day, it was from the same place where he lives, and I didn't pick it up. Planning on calling the number back tomorrow. Think he will want to be my friend or will he tell him to leave him alone? He did hang up on me last year when I called him and blocked my number. Please don't be mean. i'm dealing with enough with my mom. Thank you! |

I grabbed the items I needed and headed to the self checkout as I always do. As I finished I walked past this girl sitting on the bench and walked out the door. I didn't think much of the girl at the time. I walked across the Walmart parking lot to the Mc Donalds to get something eat. I was sitting down eating my food. When I saw the girl that was sitting on the bench with a tray of food in hand. She was about to sit at the table right next to me, but I gave her a weird look. The only reason I looked at her that way is because I just saw her and I thought she followed me but I cant confirm that. There were plenty of other tables to sit at. The girl even has her profile picture set to the two of them together. Awhile back, I asked the same guy if he loved his gf. He just looked down and said "I guess." I m just confused. They ve been together for two years, so shouldn t he have said "yes"? I tested the same question on my best friend s bf and my male best friend. When I asked, their faces immediately lit up and they said "Of course" with the biggest smiles I have ever seen on their faces. He ignores me until I ignore him back. When I do ignore him back, he gets angry and tries to get my attention. One of the things he does is force me to say hello to him. A few days ago I saw him and I turned around and walked the opposite way. He saw what I did so he walked towards me and yelled my name, like "hello Jennifer how are you?" I didn't say anything. He walked in front of me and grabbed my arm then adds, "dont you know when someone is talking to you, you should speak?" Another thing he does is stand in my way. If he is in the same room I'm in, he tries to get my attention. He walks by me repeatedly, talks louder or stands by me. I act like he's not even there. So he gets upset and walks over to the door, and stands in front of it with his back facing me. So when I leave the room, I have no choice but to talk to him. I tell him excuse me, he looks back and doesn't move. Then I yell excuse me again then he finally move. Its getting really bad. Its to the point where hes forcing me to give him attention. He doesn't even hold doors for me, he slams the door behind him on purpose when im behind him. If someone is ignoring you wouldn't you ignore them back? |

I used to be pretty much selectively mute (look it up if you dont understand what that means) for a large portion of my life. So coming from that background, i still have issues talking to people and i know guys don't read people like women do. Women read emotions which don't require words. We can look at someone and often tell what they feel. But when it comes to men, if I lack saying something when they expect me to, it just seems stuck up, rude or whatever else. I have been called pretty a lot so if that is accurate, it probably isn't helping to come across as normal or friendly. Overall I just feel like a weird person and can see why men would never want to date or take me seriously. |

Posted: 21 Jul 2019 04:31 PM PDT Have you ever been in a relationship with a person that frequently thought you cheated or were on the verge of cheating? So basically I mentioned, "I won't say anything if you won't" out loud, but I actually said it to my friend (which lied to our other friend about something that is non of my business). My acquaintance, which I acertained we were on normal terms, somehow embedded my words within the unconscious area of brain of her brain, assumed I said it for her "husband" to hear. So she added a giant amount of facial muggings at me. Like, okay your man is fairly attractive, but really? I don't have "homewrecker" tattooed on my forehead; plus, not even a pinch of thought of her husband was within my mind upon mentioning that. So, her eristic paranoia did not hurt my feelings, but I'm like wtf, I dont even want to be friends with her man anymore, because she has crossed the line (myself and her hubby are friends, but we are not "weird close" from my perspective). So, I feel like if I continue to be his friend, I will have to take her abuse about myself preying on her guy (which seems so irrational to me); her view founds myself as the "seeker of her husband", though the actuality of her unconsciousness seems like it will remain nonexistent in her head. Simply because I'm great, and although her problem is not exactly my problem, I attemped rationalize her actions toward me, but I still cannot fathom the drama as a human thing to do. What should I do? |

His parents were always the problem though. They were always against our relationship because they didn't think it was going to work out because of the timing. They just didn't think his son was ready for such a commitment yet since he just graduated from dental school (I went to his graduation btw, just last month, and his parents invited me over to their house for dinner and were very welcoming) since he just graduated and doesn't have a job yet/ doesn't make money. When I got back from my trip, evrerything went downhill just a week later. We were on the phone one night end asked him if his parents changed their minds and are okay with us continuing our relationship now that they've met me twice and got to know me a little more and he told me that he told his parents that he plans on traveling in the summer to come spend time with me but sadly at this point they were completely against us continuing this relationship and told him to stop talking to me, so we had to break up and it's been a month since we've been broken up at this point. The thing is that he still texts me often so we do still stay in touch. We obviously both still love each other, because he says it to me all the time but he says he still wants me and wants this to work out but doesn't want to be the guy who keep me waiting when he ain't even sure they will accept when the "timing" is right. |

Most my friends are either married, in a serious relationship or have a kid. And I really dont fancy that except for the fact I kinda want to have a kid, but the normal way is dating around-finding "the one"-getting married then have a kid. The thought of doing that is just exhausting. I know that I'm too selfish with my space and time, I'm so content with how my life is right now. I've had alot of female friends in highschool and college. I've known a few who had a thing for me and who were pretty clear about it. And sometimes I think to myself "damn I should've asked her out and stuff" but then what, what if it works out and being with someone feels like a lot of work. Usually guys approach females and and stuff but its the opposite with me. I find myself being close with some girls I didn't even mean to be friends with. Then when I get the feeling that theyre into me I just distance myself cause I get weirded out/repulsed by the idea of dating them and going on to sharing my life with them. And before you say that "I might be gay", I'm not gay. I dont fancy being in a relationship with other men either lol I have considered the thought that I might be an asexual but the definition of an asexual doeant really fit me, I still like females, both physically and in romantic ways. Plus i watch porn like every guy so i dont think I'm asexual I cant figure out what my problem is |

Second opinions please? So this is my friend/ex-crush. I liked him and we had a thing for like a month before it sorta just fizzled because I'm shy and he's at the point in life where he wants physical attention, and only that, while most of what I gave him was emotional attention and genuine love, which he isn't ready for. She texted me a week later saying she hasnt seen me in a while, but when I respond she ignores me. I am so confused with this one but I'm guessing it more than likely has to do with her boyfriend. |
