When we went on the date, we went walking downtown and he held my hand. He also asked to take a photo of us for his social media. He typically texts me during the day but never anything interesting. Just photos of his daily cup of coffee, pics of the food he's cooking and the occasional selfie. It's Friday night, he works a half mile from my house. We've hung out once in this month and yet he doesnt offer to hang out or come to see me when I'm a 3 minute drive away. If a man is into a woman I would think he would want to see her and it would come natural for him. Even if it was a quick hello or a dinner. It takes minimal effort for him to hang out when I'm this close. Before you say I should just ask him..I did have plans with him last night and he cancelled because it was his sisters birthday and he forgot and had to be with family.. He then said he would make it up to me. Yet today after work he went straight home (he lives 30 min away) and didnt even think or consider asking me to do something tonight (date night for most). He hit a tough spot with his bills and I've been tying to help him as much as I can. I gave him money for the light bill and water bill in April. I gave him gas money a few times too. But 2 months ago my boyfriend had received his hospital bill in the mail for being sick and he told me they were going to start to garnish his check because he couldn't afford the payments. So i started working overtime at work to help him get his debt down. He asked me to take out a loan for him but it didn't get approved so I started working more hours to try and make up for the lack of income. My friend asked me why was I working so much lately and I told my best friend at work that a i was helping my boyfriend with the bills until my birthday came. I told her he doesn't have the motivation to work OT so I'm just trying to help him until he gets hisself sorted out. I had been intimate with someone very early in our friendship. I know for a fact that we both liked each other more than friends. But we had a sleezy hookup in the back of a car which was unlike me. It was embarrassing and awkward af so after that, anytime he would text or call me, I'd just assumed that's all he wanted. I had stopped talking to him out of shame.. Anytime he would text or call, I wouldn't answer. After a while, he stopped trying and I don't blame him. Fast forward some years later, he would call and text me more. I'd finnaly decided to hang out with him again. We didn't have sex. We would just watch movies and cuddle lol. After a while, we had sex again. It was nice. But then that's when he stopped texting or calling, and then he just started ignoring me all together. | Question: Bf has no concern for my time? Posted: 26 Jul 2019 05:05 PM PDT My bf has no consideration for my time what so ever. Example he got off of work at 5:30. We had plans to hang out. I finally called him at 7:30 to see what time we were hanging out. He told me he got distracted at the house and forgot to call me. He is always late. On numerous occasions he will call and tell me he's leaving his house at say 6:00 but won't show up till 7:30 or 8 because he had to stop at Home Depot and look around or he fell asleep. This inconsideration do my time is really starting to get to me. When I try to talk to him about it all he can say is he doesn't wanna argue with me. He knows it bugs me but he continues to do it. Should I just end things? |

I have my own place and I have a steady job. My disability doesn't really stop me living my life, but I've hit a wall with one aspect, Dating. I'm 28 now and I'm looking for a serious relationship. I've had relationships in the past but they just didn't work out for different reasons. I have decided to give a dating site a chance. I've been on a dating site for about 6 weeks now! I've built up a few steady conversations and a few lads have asked to meet me. I've explained to them all about my disability and their still happy to meet, but I don't think they understand the full extent on how it affects my physical appearance. I'm used to dating guys who I have built up a friendship with first. I'm petrified I'll turn up and they'll be shocked and loose all interest or worse stand me up completely. Should I agree to meet? I could explain it a bit more to them?, but I don't want them to feel pressure to agree if they feel uncomfortable about it! Or am I just completely over thinking the entire situation? 😂 Any advice is greatly appreciated. |
