my 15 year old son was screwing around the other day and i told him to stop or i'd hit him in the nuts. he didn't stop and so i kneed him in the balls. I didn't hit him too hard, but he fell down. I kinda felt bad because i laughed and didn't feel bad for hitting him. So my question is, is it normal to hit your son in the nuts when they act out? When would it be justified to hit your son in the nuts?

My mom and I lived at the 1 bedroom apartment of a 70 year old woman for about a year. She talked to me almost everyday, and told me stories. We ended on a bad note, and I held grudges against her because she gossiped bad about me to the neighbors. I realized she wasn't going to talk to me anymore after we left her place. She blocked my number from calling her. And the reason why she wasn't going to talk to me anymore is not because I called her numerous times, because I called her tons of times after she wasn't talking to me anymore, but because I guess she felt that since I wasn't living with her anymore, she wasn't going to talk to me anymore. I called her hundreds of times, and whenever she answered the phone, I hung up. I left dozens of voicemails, about all my memories with her, what the neighbors told me about what she said about me to them, and how she didn't talk to me anymore. I said, "If you're not going to talk to me for the rest of your life, then why did you even bother talking to me while I was living with you? I talked to you everyday, expecting that you would be talking to me for the rest of my life. I regret ever talking to you."

I was hoping there are some sucessful suggestions, my kids fight about everything, they seem to be more worried about what the other one is doing rather than what they need to be doing. It makes the house a very unhappy home, now my daughter wants to move out with her father on the otherside of the country, because she hates her brother, she tells him she wishes he was dead. I was helping my 16-year-old daughter clean her room and i came across a little thing of foil with marijuana in it. I got a little angry and i told her that we would discuss it later and she said she was sorry and cried a little. I don't know how or if i should punish her because she is not a bad kid. Im an adult, my mother is adopted, I'm not, but her family is incredibly racist, homophobic, xenophobic, they literally hate anyone who isnt a white christian, like it's actually disgusting. if you're white and not christian they'll hate you too, they're really disgusting people. and I actually grew up thinking like them until I got some distance from them and realised how screwed up they were. Ok so I'm 18 and my parents want to take my car all the way to Alabama this April to visit family (we live in Illinois). My dad thinks he is entitled to use it just because I live in his house. My name is on the title and I'm the one who makes the payments, not him. But anytime I do something thay he doesn't like, he threatens to kick me out for it. Even if it's not a big deal he will just turn it into one. He's like a baby when he doesn't get his way. There is nothing wrong with my moms car that they wouldn't be able to use it, they just think they are entitled to it because I live with them. Now of course he's going to try to take my keys and then threaten to kick me out if I don't give it to him. What can I do about this?

Mr dad's brother, my uncle, had issues with his wife and i guess she wanted him to leave cuz he wasn't working and she was. She got tired of it. I'm so mad and angry at my mom, my brother is expected to finish high school this semester so she's gonna get him a Playstation 4, a phone and fully pay for his driving lessons. We have problems with a 14 year old girl over some typical high school drama. Last week, we physically fought another girl who is 16 years old. She snitched on us to her Mommy and Daddy, who screamed at us to leave their teenager alone. Now we have the same problem with a different girl who is 14 years old. She turned other girls against us and they're saying that we're fake people. I'm really upset about it.

I really want to go back to school but I can't afford to because I don't get financial aid. I'm 26 and live at home with my parents because I dropped out of college to help take care of my nieces and nephews because my sister abandoned them. My mom has tons of medical conditions and I help take care of her as well. I really want to go to school and get a good job but I'm not sure how to go about doing so as I can't afford to. I don't want to live like this forever. I want to be successful. I work as a CNA making $10 an hour and every bit of my money goes to bills and groceries for my parents and the kids. My parents don't work, my mom is too sick and my dad is disabled and his disability check is not much at all. How can I go turn my life around and go back to school with no money or what is a job I can do that pays well without a college degree? I really don't want to live like this for ever I want to be able to give the kids a good life and have everything we need.

we have had plenty of family in the hospital with high blood pressure and low blood pressure so in saying that we both know good and well that taking a scripted blood pressure medicine that doesn't belong to you could very well be dangerous or even possibly fatal why would she be suggesting i take it. on a side note mom told us before that grandma killed grandpa by spiking his coffee with his blood pressure medicine and i have seen how crazy my grandma was for myself. fold your laundry, act extra sweet, take u to school, put rat poison in my big sisters spaghetti, read you stephen king books for bedtime stories. talk about her books like it was seen on the news.. my mom takes bits of movies and shows and even parts of other peoples lives and incorporates it into her own. i remember 1 day me and my sister were in the same room and saw the same thing on a show then 2 weeks later my mom starts doing the same thing as grandma did and start talking about it like it was real happening even happening to herself. my mom has been in the nut house she claims voluntarily my intuition says otherwise. the simple fact about it all is regardless of morality i obviously cannot trust her judgement at all period. my question is how should i proceed with this situation? regardless of morality i feel my life could possibly be in danger considering that she was raised by our crazy grandma. i drink coffee what if she decides to put her blood pressure meds in it. grandma died a long time ago. what im saying is i think my mom is delusional hands down obviously has poor judgement possibly has an issue with morality. im wondering if shes a sociopath or micro psychotic or is it a health issue affecting how she thinks i guess i'm going to have to not take any chances until i am able to leave. i think i will sither eat before she gets home or time my meals cooking or stand there and watch it cook. never eat or drink anything from her and never drink the coffee she leaves behind when she goes out. if i cant trust her judgement then her morality doesn't matter the worst things can happen with the best intentions from a lack of sound judgement.

I took my 14 year old niece to the community center gym with me earlier today because my sister was out running errands. Not really a gym, but it had treadmills and such. Anyways, I got pretty sweaty, so I took off the tank top that I was wearing on top, so my bare belly was showing. Not long after, my niece comments on my belly ring and starts asking me a lot of questions about it. When I got it, if I like having it etc. Personally, it's not something I actively show off. I'm 21 years old and I've been renting rooms in Houston ever since I got kicked out of my house. A few months after I graduated high school I was kicked out of my house in punches by my step father,I never failed a single grade ever during all my school years from beginning to end, was always a good kid. But the thing is (something I hate) was my parents expected too much out of me.As soon as I turned 18 and still in high school my step father would complain like I would already owe him years of rent, then once I graduated high school I was kicked out during summer because my step father told my little brother not to do something in the house, then 2 minutes later my brother did it again and I tried defending my step fathers words by slapping my little brother. But then he started crying and both my mom and step father through themselves at me like if I was some sort of bastard which I might become in the future if I am proven correct here or anywhere else. And it was really messed up for me trust me people would be mad after I would tell them what happened to me as they didn't like something like that had happened to someone like me. I've met people with kids 18-25 years old who were let not pay any rent till years after. And I spend 1 year without a job and only a few months after graduation I had something really messed up happen to me? I'm not a rich guy with money, my parents sure did me incredibly wrong due to their expectations on me.

When I was a kid they were estranged from my Mom's half of the family. Things are better now but I have to make up to her family for being distant between ages of 8 and 15. I feel I am defined by the estrangement even 20 years after it ended and especially cause my Mom still stays a little distant from them though not estranged anymore. Thus I fear my legacy will be the unknown son of (my parents names). My parents are fed up with me caring and yet I want them to see it was real pain I carry of being rejected those 7 years. They validated my anger when I was high school aged and made a threat at school that nearly got me locked up so I don't see why they can't validate this. I know I was a kid then and an adult now but still, pain is real. So how do I get my Mom and Dad to validate the pain their family conflict caused me?

I am a teenager, and for years my mother has been seemingly normal besides when she randomly will do weird physical things to restrain and scare me. She pins me down sometimes or lifts her leg over me so I can't move and make noises in my ear. Once she started yelling "antisocial little girl" because I am very shy and often decline invitations from friends to hang out. She'll do these for a long time and it causes me a lot of distress but for some reason I can't stop histarically laughing/ while asking her to stop and get off and trying hard to remove myself. She will stop and leave eventually but I am always left sad and confused after. She is a good mom and I love her and I know she cares about me. She can be normal often but why does she do this so often and why doesn't she stop until she wants to. :(

I WANT him to have access to my son and be able to see him when he wants and all that I'll never get in the way however I'm abit uncomfortable with my son being away from me for the day also my son cries a lot without me he's never gone anywhere without and never gone out with his dad alone I know he's going to be with his father I trust him however I feel uncomfortable about all this even though I'll still allow him to take him for the day. My step dads sister is coming over Saturday she thinks she is going to rearrange my room like she did the rest of the house right after my mom dying. She is super stuck up and I don't like how she "styles" things. She controls my step dad and she does everything here that she wants done. I don't want her touching a thing in my room because my mom and I had arranged it like this for my daughters crib to have a beautiful place by her wall decal that took me months to get done plus everytime she touches something it goes missing and if I have my things misplaced I will be pissed. In my opinion she has no need to come mess with my room it's clean and I have things organized and the style the way I like it. Nobody comes in my room but my daughter and me. She needs to know that she can't always get her way. But I know I'm staying here how can I possibly just let her know not to touch what me and my mom have done before she died?

There is no need for a woman to have to go to therapy just because she doesn't like her picture being taken it's not that uncommon or weird & it doesn't require a woman going to an expensive *** therapist over something that isn't even an issue. Not every woman likes her picture taken and that's FINE (me for example)
