My uncle is abusive, mentally, emotionally and physically. My brother is getting married in November and he wants me to be his best man. The thing is our parents disowned him because he's marrying someone who religious belief they don't agree with. Keep in mind he knew this girl since high school and our parents had no issue with her until they got engaged last year. I know its sexy time when dad and mom ask me to leave bedroom, I used to complain, but now I don't. afterwards my dad says ok, you can come back and watch tv with us. My husband recently found out his ex wife whom he was married to for 20 years and shares two children with is now dating his brother. So my husband and I are in a rough patch. He works hundreds of miles away and I'm home with the kids and pregnant. We had a really bad argument and I needed to vent to a girlfriend. So my girlfriend happened to be with an old guy friend of ours and when she came over she brought him with her. So he heard everything I had to say. Constant habit

. I met my now husband 2 years ago, my kids call him dad and he treats them as such. The problem is my kids had more freedom them what my husband wants to allow. He has new rules for them to follow, not unreasonable rules, but he's not ever here to enforce them. So he tells me to discipline them more and I do believe they need it but I'm not sure what to do. He doesn't understand that they've been raised like that they're whole life and changing it may take some time. I don't know what to do. This is causing problems for him and I. I want them to follow the rules he's set down but it's hard changing it. He says take they're stuff and whip them. Even though I do try to implement the new rules, although, they still dont listen most of the time. They say things like why do i have to do this, why cant i go? And my 12yr old pretty much listens, but also sometimes he gives me a look that seems to me him saying whatever or something worse. I tell my husband i cant change them overnight and he gets mad about our kids not listening but how am i supposed to change them. how they are alone and me being someone who wasnt that strict.
