There were a lot of good memories and fun times we had but also many bad times. He has a lot of mental health issues and I've tried to be patient and understanding but it's been draining on me. He is obnoxious when he is around other people and around my friends. He frequently offends people and can't keep a job because of his rude comments and issues. When he gets in trouble, he feels bad and says he wants to change but he never does. He usually has a good heart but his actions don't reflect it. He embarrasses me a lot. Most of the time he gets upset with me because I didn't say exactly what he wanted to hear or act a certain way that he wanted. He reads into my body language and what I say so much. He is insecure so he constantly wants me to make him feel better. On one side, he is very dedicated to me and is proud that I am his girlfriend. He always helps me out and sometimes we really have a good time together. However, he is also rude, irresponsible, immature, and makes jokes I find offensive. He wants to marry me in the future but I don't want to settle down and base my future on a relationship. I want to make decisions for myself so that I have no regrets. His behavior right now shows to me that he wouldnt be a good husband unless he matures and changes but i cant just wait around for him to change. Long story short, I came home for lunch one day while my housekeeper was working, we got to talking over lunch and to put it bluntly, something sexual happened between us. I thought it was nothing more than just a weak moment for both of us, but we ended up having a couple more of these "moments" over the next week or so, even when she was off work. A few nights ago when she was done working, I decided to ask her out to dinner. She said yes, we had a great time and she ended up inviting me to her house. | Question: Confused in a “thing”? Posted: 22 Jun 2018 03:38 PM PDT So this girl and I hung out for probably 50 hours out the 178 in a week. This included spending the night with each other three times and sex once. We started a relationship but we call it a "thing" around other people. I feel like I may have been conditioned to hanging out with her so much that I may be clingy now. And when I feel like I need to talk about sex with her because she came off as a very sexual person but she said she really doesn't like sex in general that much. But when I want to talk about it at all she kinda blows it off because it makes her feel uncomfortable. I feel like she struggles communicating because she is usually an independent person with not too many friends. We are both going out of town for the next 2 weeks and I asked if we could see each other before we left even for like 5 min. Which is doable but she acts like it's going to take too long and I feel like she's nervous about her family finding out. We are both 18 btw. It's got me feeling nervous and kind of depressed. I'm very confused and I know who ever reads this may be too. I'm posting this to kind of vent and help get ideas and thoughts onto "paper". If anyone could offer any thoughtful advice I could use it thanks. |

I really like him but I am very inexperienced in dating. I am a 28 year old virgin who has never kissed anyone. I have no idea what the next step is or how I can get physically closer to him. He has told he is very experienced but it just seems like that was all talk. The problem is that he also does not initiate anything relatively sexual or more heavy such as kissing, let alone even talk about having sex with me. Whenever we say goodbye, he hugs me really tight and he does hold my hand but that's the farthest thing he does in terms of doing things people who date usually do....so does he even like me? Why are men shamed and judged for not wanting to marry non virgin women or for rejecting a woman solely because she was not a chaste virgin The man is called shallow insecure a loser But women can reject men for whatever reason but they don't garner the same treatment How is a man rejecting a woman for not being a virgin /sexual past Any different from a woman rejecting a man because he's fat short poor ugly ?why can a woman expect a man to make a certain income , be handsome good looking , tall , funny charming etc even if she is not why is the woman not called a hypocrite or shallow for her standards but a man is ? |

A 56-year-old woman from my mom's church who I met on vacation with church members, including my mom, is "single" according to a Facebook, but has pics of her with boyfriend, as well as his kids. Since she's not "in a relationship," I'm wondering if they are not exclusive, thus her body language. It didn't start out this way, though. Here's what gradually incurred from the start of vacation: 1. Her hotel roommate took a pic of us, which she eventually texted me. The roommate took another pic of us days later, this time where our cheeks were touching. 2. She texted "Do you want to take a walk? Let's meet in the lobby." But I received that text two hours late, I guess due to poor WiFi. So I never knew what was to become of that "walk." 3. While taking a historical tour, we observed a baptism pool. She said, "You ready?" and giggled and said "I'm so bad." THIS is where it got physical... 4. During a tour where it was cold outside, I didn't have a jacket. She asked me if I was okay. I said yes, and she smiled and hugged/held me. Then a little later, she did the same, except we didn't let go of each other, and she rubbed my back while our arms were wrapped around each other. And for most of that tour, it was raining, so we were stuck under an umbrella together, with her hand holding my arm. I haven't made a move on her, as I don't want to be led on. Throughout all of this, I repeatedly overheard her BF's name being uttered, including by my mom. We're not friends on Facebook. I just looked her up. |
