I was coming back down to the area we matched in & we decided to go on a date. Date went amazingly, we originally just planned to get ice-cream but he asked me if I had any other plans for the day & I said no, so we spent about 2-3 more hours than planned together. After the date, I texted to thank him for dropping me off at my place. He texted me back thanking me for checking in on him, telling me it was nice to meet me, and that I was "super cute". We spoke the day after, and then we didn't speak again. Thing is, he still looks at my instagram story & likes my instagram posts, & we're still matched on tinder, so it's not like he blocked me & wanted me out of his life or anything. But he hasn't texted, & he left me on read after I answered a question he asked about whether or not I was back home. Should I assume he's no longer interested & just chose the ghosting route (as opposed to being upfront or just blocking me)? I was the opposite, I was a lot more distant, while still being nice and friendly but I was cautious as I usually am in a new relationship. Fast forward 6 months and now I'm the romantic, overly sweet and cuddly one. He's already stated that he doesn't like to cuddle as often because he considers it smothering but that it doesn't mean he loves me any less. He's less romantic and doesn't say as many sweet things anymore. I really do love him and I've opened up to him. But now I think we're at different emotional levels towards one another. Is this cool down normal? Should I be worried or am I overreacting? |

She still texts me though and we work together, we met through our job. She'll act like she's upset in a jokingly way if I talk about other women at all in general telling me "Wow, go marry her". She still wants me to walk her to her car. She even told me that she was going to see a movie with her nephew and niece and then cancelled when one of them went out of town. She's like "I still want to go but not by myself" so I offered to go, she wanted me to go apparently and was debating on asking me but she just can't. So she just ran errands all day. She'll ignore my texts sometimes but then text me about things going on with her out of the blue. If I give her the same treatment though she gets really upset and asks me why I'm "acting like that". She still gives me this look and smiles really big like she did when we were dating and we worked together. I used to tell her she was beautiful every day but stopped after the breakup. I told her once at work after when it was just me and her and she was like "took you long enough". She used to joke about breaking up and be like "We're done" but then just laugh it off and she still does it all the time. She wants me to work double shifts just to work with her all the time. I told her if she wants to be friends we can but she seems iffy about hanging out. I told her if she wants me to leave her alone I can but then she gets all upset. What does she want?? |
