I texted him that I missed him and he went on and wrote essays about how I hurt him etc it's been months but he was saying how I didn't apologize in a timely manner and allowed him to suffer.i said things happened and were said that shouldnt have been said. Then he went on to say how do you suppose things would workout now? How do you undo what was done etc, knowing his personality he's trying to get me to say why we should get back together. I said better than the first time since experienced makes one better. He went on to say that he's spent the time bettering himself etc and that he didn't want to put himself in a situation that would hurt him again. I said I didn't want a relationship that would cause pain either and that I never meant to hurt him. He didn't respond I asked what are you doing. He replied a couple hours later that he was asleep. The following day we had a conversation I said it was hot and he asked if I had an ac, if I have a window in my bedroom to install an ac unit etc. Couple days passed and I got a bit annoyed that he didn't text and thought maybe he was waiting for me and I was leaving the country. I said you despite all that I gave you the benefit of the doubt. It realized to no end. I say I miss you but you're still stuck in the past bitterness and resentment. He replied ok. Comes from a broken family. I came to America when I was 4, grew up in Dallas so I guess I am Americanized but I still value my heritage and speak my language, family and tradition is very important to me. For the most part I love how different we are. We have been dating for a year and half and I love learning new things from him and his family and teaching him stuff about mine. We love each other and are very serious. But there are some things that bother me. He isn't the most culturally aware person.....he didn't even know where India was on the map until I showed him. He doesn't like the food, he doesn't get the clothing, the mesh of religions, the many many random festivals and traditions.....growing up, I was always enchanted by India.....despite all its flaws......and I just realized he will never see it how I see it. What makes it worse is that he knows my parents aren't enthusiastic that I'm dating a white guy and he resents that.....And because he hasn't been officially introduced he doesn't get to see much of my heritage, and I feel like I'm being swallowed by his own culture and forced to forget mine. All I did back then was tell her I did not want to be her friend anymore because of her selfish ways and negative energy. I'm 19, sophomore in college with 17 credit hours this semester, and work a minimum of 32 hours a week as a Walmart supervisor ontop of this. A usual day for me is 9am-3pm class and 4-10/11pm work. So I rarely have time, and when I do I'm usually doing homework. Lucky for me I don't have to study much, so sometimes I DO have free time. I've been with my fiancé since I was 12, and we are going on 7 years. He lives with me. The problem arises with the intimate portion of our relationship. Since I'm always at class, work, or doing homework I'm always busy, and always stressed. He constantly wants to have sex, and if I don't manage the time for it into my schedule he gets extremely angry. I try my best to schedule it in, but sometimes I'm just so stressed I DONT want it. It had been a week since we last had sex while back, and he was throwing a literal baby fit. Slaming doors, stomping around, etc. when I said I wasn't in the mood. But the second I changed my mind and gave in, he was as happy as can be... untl he asked for "round 2" and I said no. Then he pushed me off him and went back to stomping around. He'll just act uninterested when replying, if I say "i love you have a good day" i get "yep love you too. You too i guess" as a response during these fits. When I started sleeping with him I considered it a "rebound" not thinking I'd get feelings. But I really like him. We never run out of things to talk about and have so much in common. We go out for food, do things outside, we've even gone on a few hiking/camping trips. I asked him a week ago how he feels about me (over message, as he's out of the country for a few weeks), and he told me he really likes me, and feels that we connected very well and very quickly. I told him I felt the same. I thought maybe he would hint at something more serious, but the conversation ended there. It's been very fun, but I don't want to be stuck in something casual (friends w benefits thing) as I've developed feelings. He's out of the country for a few weeks, but we've been texting every single day. He has also made it clear to me he is not interested in sleeping with/seeing anyone else but me. We hang around his friends and around mine, and at parties we spend a lot of time together, sometimes drunkenly kissing and other times just acting like friends. In general he's not very affectionate in public, only when we get to bed. He seems to like the casual thing we have going. Should I withdraw until he realizes he might lose me if he doesn't act? I wasn't so discouraged about it and went to college hoping things would be different, but it made no difference. In college i was approached by girls, but they never liked me in a romantic way. When I asked them out for a coffee or lunch at the nearest diner, they'd always reject me or try to dodge my question.The girls would call me genius but they never liked me. Am very fit and My sisters always brag about me to their friends, saying he's very handsome, dresses nice, is in shape and has a good career. When the girls meet me, they never like me. It seems like the advice i get is to ask many girls out, but no one has an advice for getting rejected. I live by myself and i hope one day somegirl will give me a chance, but it seem like it's not going to happen. Does anyone have any idea or clues as to why am always rejected by every girl i meet. |

Posted: 11 Sep 2018 07:02 PM PDT hi i'm writing this for some advice on getting my bf to compromise! his ex cheated on him and i feel that it's being taken out on me. he's constantly asking how many guys i've been with and all the sexual encounters i've had then brings it up all the time. he doesn't like me hanging out w. my friends, complains about me working or studying, he doesn't like my roomies being around when he visits, i have to tell him my plans everyday and the list keeps growing. my friends are starting to notice and they think i don't care for them since we don't hangout as much. i tell my bf all the time that i wish i could be with him 24/7 but i have responsibilities and he makes me feel guilty for it. he thinks i choose my friends over him but he hasn't changed his lifestyle around for me. i decided to go to my mother's friend house warming and i hadn't mentioned it to him in hopes of teaching him a lesson..i posted a pic on my instagram and he wouldn't stop calling and texting me. my location is shared w. him and he drove to the house because he thought i was cheating on him. he was pissed even after realizing that i wasn't cheating and i had to leave early because he started making a scene. he said that i'm making him go crazy because he has feelings for me. i fell in love w. him and idk how i'd be without him. idk to make him see that his stubborn way is hurting me. i try to compromise and tell him how i want things to go but he doesn't pay attention unless i refrain from sex. need advice? |

Posted: 11 Sep 2018 06:49 PM PDT i was really into this guy that was my only friend for about a year (last year) but i wanted him to make the first move just in case it wasnt mutual. he then got a girlfriend and suddenly ditched me. at one point later he told me that the feelings were mutual, but he already had a girlfriend and moved on (im assuming, but duh). he still wanted to be apart of my life though, like friend wise, but thats too painful for me, because whenever i get comfortable with him, the feelings com back up. at one point i burst at him telling him parts of how hurt i felt, and now we have a class together. i told him that i needed to cut things off between us for the best, but he wanted to talk about it more in private, and for me to let him know. i really dont want to, so i blocked him on everything, and i mean ive gotten used to hiding my feelings from him. but now, i just cant stop thinking about what i would say and looking at each other in class and not being able to get over him and wanting him to talk to me and just UGH. its so complicated. hes an amazing guy, and what he did was wrong but when i see him i dont even care but i know thats not good for me and he still has a girlfriend that hes already happy with. |
