I was living in their second home and repaired it because it was a wreck. Holes in the cieling. No carpet just concrete floors and it was an electrical disaster waiting to burn down after 20 years of neglect. It was loaded with junk hoarded through the years. I took it upon myself to dispose of the junk that mostly belonged to my brother. He left me with a huge mess to clean and I did. After 23 weeks of living there I got evicted and left homeless. Aparently the junk had some sentimental value. I spent everything fixing the house to make it habitable. They also disapproved of my girlfriend who is now my wife. They have never met and have never spoken. She met my brother who treated her like crap and she told him off. Every birthday and holiday I would measage them in hopes of starting a dialogue that could lead to paching things up. I was always given a one word measage back say something like "thanks", or, "you too". Also when my daughter was born still I got nothing. They contacted me to wish me a happy birthday after all these years. I started talking to them and was told till I make things right the silence will continue. The estrangement has been painful over the years and was getting better. Now I'm hurting again. Nothing I can do will fix the situation. Why am I so upset over people who want nothing to do with me? Why do I care so much? What should I do? |

She would constantly blow her nose and you can clearly hear that nothing was there to blow out .. just air. She was also being super paranoid and didn t care about how she looked. And then because of plagiarism the study sync caught the two of us with the same answer. And then Mac said she copied it from another girl in another class which was my friend's class. So mac copied from my friend as well! So then we admitted to the teacher that we both cheated and we will get a zero on the assignment. But the thing is, I haven't told my friend that I hacked her account to copy her work. I'm worried that I'll get suspended! I can't even dare to tell my friend what I did. I'm scared. She's the type of person who spreads rumors. And in my class rumors already started. but the rumors are fake. People are saying that Mac copied my work! When we don't take the bait, they suddenly have to go. At times we will have guests, but only by our invitation and decision made before the fact. Don't these people realize just how rude they are? We don't advertise or talk about the home much at all. Anyone out there have this issue? What do you do to prevent socially dense people from trying to push themselves on you-especially to stay over. |

I don't know if it's necessarily like this in other high schools, but in mine, the teachers and administrators actually speak to us like we're daycare children. Now I know high schools are kind of like this but it gets on my nerves... So I'm legally an adult. I can move out, pay taxes, get a full time job, do all of this other "adulting" stuff ( but at school, not so much. Allow me to elaborate. I arrived at school today at 7:05. My school starts at 7:15 so I thought I was fairly early. However, the traffic at my school is horrible and the line is so unorganized it takes forever to actually get into the school. So I got there a minute before the bell rang and forcefully ran as fast as I could, making a fool of myself, to class in that one minute and when the bell rang, my hand was literally on the doorknob. Not to mention my first period teacher actually allows us to be one or two minutes late because everyone knows about this morning traffic problem. As I was opening the door, this lady started screaming her head off and I told her, "This is my class," and she responded by saying, "When a grown up tells you do something, you do it honey," but in the rudest tone I've ever heard someone speak to me. I started walking to the attendance office and when I got my late pass, I was yelled at again and told I have two detentions. I got to class much later than the teacher accepts. She was furious and asked me why I'm late again, and I explained to her I had to get a late pass. Someone in my class jokingly told the teacher she's usually a few minutes late herself her excuse was that she's the adult and then referred to be as a "child". During lunch, I even got yelled at for going to class to finish a test because "the kids aren't allowed in the hallways during lunch" Do I even need all of this adult supervision? At 18?! |

Posted: 28 Feb 2017 02:20 PM PST Whenever I go out with a group of coworkers, which is very seldom, one of them ends up raging and committing a borderline violent act. Last time, he threw food in a cashiers face and then fought someone in the middle of the road when we were all standing on the sidewalk of the restaurant. What's even more chilling about these tendencies to me, is that he is the most calm person I have ever met in my entire life. I've never heard him curse, say anything crude, or lose self-control. I hardly ever hang out with them because I know he'll be there, and sometimes he'll even drive ...drunk. I've told him I will drive him home (I don't drink) and he refuses and gets angry to the point where I get frightened. I ask his friend if he will talk to him so I can take them all home, and he says no, it's okay. Our other coworkers seem to enable this behavior and think it's funny, and he usually drives them all home even though he is the most drunk out of them all. I'm not sure what to do, I don't want to call the police on my own coworker in the future but his friends aren't stepping up either. Why does he get so angry under the influence? |

Always calling me nasty, *****, getting people to call me "freak", and he's just a huge asshole to me. I've done nothing to him. One of my best friends, let's call her C. C is aware of what an asshole he's been to me. All my friends at school are fully aware. Yesterday, C and my other friends went to an abandoned house on our school campus to just explore. The bully followed us to the house. He wasn't really being mean and explored a bit so I just let go the fact that he was there. Then after like 10 minutes of all of us being there. I was wondering where C went. I looked around for C and I went into one of the rooms of the house and then I walked in to see C on her knees giving oral sex to my bully. I was shocked and ran out of the house. I stood outside for awhile trying to comprehend what I saw. I walked back in and my bully was gone. C told me to just forget about it, but it's imprinted in my mind and I can't unsee it. I feel betrayed and hurt. What exactly should I do in this situation? If you're wondering, I'm 16 and a sophomore and so is C and my bully is a junior and I don't know his age. Please help. |

I really have no clue how people make new friends. I tried going to social things, tried out several hobbies that involve meeting people but I never even get close to making a friend. I also never see other people make friends. People just show up with people they know and stay with them all the time. Getting drunk to ease things is not an option either for two reasons. One, I hate being drunk, and two, being drunk makes me even more shy than normal. I could really use some advice. |

I thought about giving her a hug it might help her a little but I don't know if my wife would like it if I hugged her. We both had feelings for each other, or so she says and she suggested on multiple occasions we sleep together. I turned it down because she seemed like the type who would have gotten attached and blamed me if things did not work out, which she admitted herself had happened in the past. I told her I preferred a relationship since I did not see things going anywhere from us hooking up. A few days back she texts me and suggest we remain friends instead but I decided if that was the case we should end our friendship as well. This along with many other things lead me to end it between us and I know I made the right choice. A few days after she texted me and said she mistook loving me as a friend for something more, an excuse which I still don't buy since she was the one who initially started flirting with me and on multiple occasions suggested we sleep together. I feel that she is mainly just upset that I did not go through with what she wanted. We talked yesterday and she apologized saying everything was her fault and that she was sorry for leading me on, but I felt like she only said it in hopes of saving our friendship. I gave her a chance to explain herself but I still don't know if staying friends with her is a good idea. I have blocked her from facebook, deleted her number as well and I am ready to move on but a part of me still feels like I am making the wrong decision and I don't know why |

We started calling each other cousins a year ago because of how close we are. Problem: We became cousins b4 we ere even good friends like now. We message all the time, he tells me everything, and he calls me a lot. He didn't reply back to my message and I guess he thought I was upset with him at work. After work he came to me and asked me if I was mad at him, then he said "sorry I didn't reply back to your message." He never apologizes to people because of his pride, unless he has exceptions. |

I pretty much interrogated my friend about something while he was beside his father's hospital bed. This was over facebook, and I thought he was joking about having a life crisis, but it was true. I didn't know that his father was sick. I know I was stupid and I shouldn't have done that. I really regret doing that. I have apologised numerous times over that conversation. And then he said don't talk to me. What am I supposed to do? |

She says mean stuff to me like when I say "Man I feel so stupid" she said " because you are stupid!" And then I just stay quiet for the rest of the day and she told the entire class that I like one direction even though I don't. Sometimes I say pretty mean things but I say sorry for what I did, I say I was just playing and didn't mean to hurt anyone. We re both 20 and in the same class. He Messaged me on fb after he saw me in class, he wanted to be friends (just friends) and he s very friendly and sweet. We use to talk everyday for hrs and he would be the one to text me. we laughed, shared our problems and did everything together. Everytime he had a problem I would be the first person he ll tell to. But there s a thing, I m a good girl, I stay at home, don t party, don t go out, don t drink or do weed. But him and his twin brother (I m friends with him as well) are the complete opposite so I don t really fit in with him. Me and my guy friend are beginning to drift apart and to make things worse he s now friends with another guy who s now his drinking and weed buddy so he practically ignores me for him. I m actually beginning to get annoyed, we still talk a lot and stuff but not as close, he used invite me to lunch with his friends but not anymore. We don t even hangout anymore because all him and his friends do is drink. I value our friendship a lot but I ve been getting so annoyed and I feel as if we re gonna have an argument soon because everything he does annoys me. Is there a way I can rekindle our friendship and make him miss me? I jokingly asked him if I should switch seats with his guy friend and he said I don t mind at all, I was beyond offended and I was about to say something but stopped myself lol.
