I just moved to a new state and I'm a freshman in high school. Keep in mind that I moved to this giant city from a small city. So I miss knowing everybody and just feeling at home all the time. I loved feeling that way and I'm not really all that into big cities and things like that. I'm pretty bombed out about it because I miss my friends and family a whole lot . This has caused me a lot of stress that has resulted in bad things such as bald spots. I've tried to hang with people here but it's just not the same type of fun and I miss it a lot. My parents gave me the option to go back to my hometown for summer break or stay with them and go on vacations and stuff like that. I picked to see my family and friends. I know 2 months is long and there might be times where I miss them but I haven't seen my family and friends in 8 months. They keep trying to make me feel like a bad person about my decision. But they don't understand. Im a pretty simple person so seeing my family And friends for a long time after so long makes me happier than some vacation. Am I really in the wrong?

My guy friend told our mutual friend (let's call him Tom) some trivial stuff that he doesn't want me to know. It's been this long standing joke between the three of us. Okay I have had quite a few scary things happen to me. But out of my cougar attacks and ghost stories, this is the scariest. I have a friend in 4th grade, and I m in 7th. Back in Elementary School, some girl I thought was my friend was an evil little girl monster. She got my guy friend to see me as a bad guy and make us attack each other for no reason. she told a relative of ours that she had a man choke her and try to rape her. when we asked her if she was OK and if they have the person in jail, she wouldn't tell us anything. We thought that odd. We are the people she trusted for advice over several years. Several others that heard her story believe it was made up. This isn't a child, this is a 24 year old gal. Ok so there is this guy that is in my friend group that I have been apart o for ever and he joined about to years ago and started out nice etc... at the start of this year (9th grade) he started to verbally attack me and 2 other members of the group. He would call us names, start rumors etc.. then he started to exclude us and have hang outs without us. It really sucked when he was the only one doing it but he has slowly been getting everyone else to be on his side and bash me and the other to people. my little sister is 13 and goes to the same school as me. Problem is, she's really socially awkward and she doesn't have any friends. She's super caring and a really good person, but she's just not like the other people. While her old friends were suddenly interested in boys and makeup, she just doesn't care. She used to have lots of friends that she was close with but now they don't talk that much. She also doesn't really care that they aren't friends anymore but i can tell that she's upset that her only friends are the special needs kids at her school who she's befriended. She's not great at school and has ADD, ADHD, anxiety, and a whole mess of stuff. She's good at sports but only plays volleyball because she had a mean softball coach and was excluded by all of her basketball teammates. Hi, I'm a 13 year old girl in 7th grade. My whole life I've always been very mature for my age. I am also very smart, I always get straight A's on my report cards. Lately I've been feeling very bored in all of my classes since the work is so easy for me, and I would like to be challenged more. I have tons of friends in my grade, but I also have tons of friends in 8th grade, and I feel like I would relate and fit in with my 8th grade friends more. My parents are setting up a meeting with my principal next week, and if I pass the test I am allowed to move up a grade! Since I am friends with a lot of the 8th graders,(my boyfriend is also in 8th grade)I think I would do well socially. The only thing I'm scared about is being almost a year younger than everyone in my grade, my birthday is December 2003, and the cut-off for 8th grade is September, so I'm not that far off. I have a good friend who I have known since childhood (in our mid twenties now). He is a very good friend and shows up when I need his help. However he constantly lies to me about small things (bought a new game it is great, lost my wallet but will get a new credit card soon, my cousin has had a girlfriend for 5years, etc.) These lies would not bother me except he will then bring them up on his own to discuss at later dates. I'm a freshman and a senior friend of mine has invited me to my first party. My parents are going out of town and I've made plans to stay at a friend's house that night, but I can have her older brother cover for me if anything happens. I have everything figured out to make sure that I get home safe, but if the party gets busted I don't know what the best thing to do is.

So, a friend invited people from our friend group to go on a road trip with him and I was not invited. I don t think he meant to exclude me but I still feel kind of crappy about the whole thing. I guess i just am really worried about missing out. I probably wouldn t feel so bad about it, if it wasn t constantly brought up. So what should I do?

My friend only hangs out with the white kids. So she invited me over her white friends house and they were looking at me weird. I could tell they didn't want to hang out with me because I'm black. But they wanted to hang out with my friend and she's black too. So why did they have a problem hanging out with me, but not my friend? I don't get it. Why do white people only hang out with one black person? Is it because they only need one? I just moved to a new place a few months ago. I have made 2 amazing friends who are a ton of fun and they are always down for an adventure. I like them and I think they are great people.
