I talked to him abt it and he said he doesn't have the motivation to be a good boyfriend and that he sucks and doesn't want to hurt me so he can't do this anymore. His not making me happy was making him unhappy. So he said we're done. And I was like wait why what can't you try to make more of an effort for me? And then after some talking, he changed his mind that he would try and if it didn't work oh well. What should I do? How should I act? I feel hurt and scared and like I have to prove myself to him again or something. |

I go to an all girls high school. I have friends and I'm not getting bullied so it's not like i'm alone, I'm just sick of being invisible. I graduate in two weeks and the "popular" people start to take over all the grad planning as everyone agrees with them and nothing that my friends and I have to say. I don't get the best grades in school but I'm currently studying really hard to get into uni. The worse thing in my school is not having a drivers license. People are embarrassed to admit that they are still on their learners permits as everyone has the license where they can drive without an adult. All the girls show off in their cars as my friends and I sit at the bus stop waiting for the bus that comes every hour. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's so humiliating. I also like this guy from my work and we have been out on a date but after the date it just became small talk (and he supposedly got a girlfriend) I know he doesn't like me because I'm not like the popular girls at school that can drive and go to parties. I even wanted him to be my formal (prom) date, well that ain't happening... I'm not even at school today because I wanted to take a day break from it all and catch up on studying. It seems like the older i get the more hard it is to fit in and get along with people. I thought it was bad when I was in high school but looking back now I at least was easier to make friends I mean the jocks and cheerleaders used to pick on me but the rest of the kids wouldn't go out of there way to mess with me and at least was able to fit in. When your a weird kid it's better than being a weird adult. It's just thew few friends I have always go out clubbing/bar hopping for fun and I don't fit in there. I try to but I can't because everybody stares at me and people always **** with me including bouncers. Even bars with older people my parents age. It's like people see i'm a bit odd so they go out of there way to try to intimidate me. I have a stuttering problem also and I get mocked more now than I did when I was a kid. It's not even just that. My family (like aunts, uncles and cousins etc) in a way do the same thing at cookouts and stuff. They always like to point out the fact that I'm single at my age and some of them don't talk to me because they think I'm gay and I'm not. I wound up throwing my phone at his head and i was about to go into the bathroom for awhile and just lock myself in there. He got up and followed me in there grabbed me by my throat slammed my head up against the wall and then hit me in the back of my head three times. I won't lie that i was wrong for throwing my phone at him and don't get me wrong i believe in equality. but i still feel like he went way WAY overboard putting his hands on me like that. I can't allow myself to stay with someone like this though. I'm working on getting 2 jobs to support myself, save up some money, and move out. I guess my question is if i should even discuss this with my soon to be ex fiancé at all? Aside from those two times he's hit me he's amazing. He does anything and everything for me. He loves to tell everyone about me, and he does so much to make sure I'm happy. And i do the same for him. I still love him and i don't want to hurt him like that... he's literally my best friend.
