I met a girl a couple years older than me she started laughing at my joke then asked me to repeat it to her. I did she smiled the whole time then did this jump scare thing and smiled and looked me in the eye. It turned into a game between us and if I did it back she smiled at me and her friend would record it. Well her friend asks me to tell the girl jokes and funny stories, chase after her. Then the girl or her friend would come and get me for selfies and she'd ask me to get closer to her. Herself or her friend would send it for me to post on Facebook and tag her. I told the friend I'm not into selfies and she says "me and Rebecca are going to have to do something about that" so her friend comes and gets me out of nowhere the one time she wore something that showed cleavage and from that she blushed and asked me to get closer. Whenever we have a conversation she tries the jump scare thing or selfie thing.

im (male) 18, i live in THE MOST boring city in the world. it takes me at most 10 minutes to get ANYWHERE IN THE CITY and ive done so about a hundred times. my girlfriend works alot, my best friend is in another state and my other friend has loads of work to do. what can i do for fun? nothing like go to the gym (i already work out plenty at work) or anything at home since my family borderline hates me. suggestions?????

I'm about 1500 miles away from home and I miss my family so much. I had a lot of friends and a great friend group in high school. I am friends with my roommate and my suite mates, but we're all in different sororities and they seem to be clicking with their sisters more than I have so far. The sorority I got wasn't my first choice so I don't love it as much as they all do. I feel like I have acquaintances more than friends right now. I feel like since I'm almost a month in, I should be happier than I am. I just want to go home and I'm worried that this isn't the place for me. I just started college 3 weeks ago and I still want to go home. I haven't found a friend group yet and I feel lonely everyday.

I've met my friend about a year ago after I went through quite a rough couple of years with no friends, so it was nice to finally have a friend again. It helped a lot with my depression. Then she introduced me to her friend and it was even better because now instead of having one friend I had two. However more recently I have been feeling a lot more like the third wheel than anything else. The situation is so bad that they even make jokes about it. The worst part is I can't even talk to them about it because they just brush it off. The one day I was upset about how they treating me and I was at a point almost in tears and instead of consoling me they just ignored me and tried to avoid me. I hate this feeling, I hate feeling like a burden or being seen as a charity case. Right now I just wish that I could go back to the time when I did not have friends. The depression sucked but at least I never felt like this before. What can I do to get through this?

I was with him and other friends in the last weekend. He was apologizing because he had made bad jokes. He said he had talked a lot of bullshit that weekend, he thought he had done it because he was sleepy. I found it weird that he apologized many times, in my opinion what he said was normal. Besides, he touched my shoulder when he made a joke to get my attention. When I was talking to him, I noticed that he was looking into my eyes, but about three times he took a quick look at my mouth and then looked back In my eyes, he had never done this before. Are these signs that he might be interested?

I am a straight college senior. I have a lot of straight and gay friends. One of my gay female friends told me about a problem she and many of her gay girl friends have. There are social occasions they would like to attend where they need a male escort. Because she was my friend I told her I would be happy to help out. She passed the word to her friends and now I go to the social meetings with them. At these meetings, I have met and made friends with some of the top people in the community. Several have given me their business cards and told me to call them for a possible job when I graduate from college. These are contacts my fellow students would die for. However some people that know what I am doing claim it is wrong for me to "use" these women for this purpose and that all I am is a gigolo. I don't get paid for this and there is obviously no sex involved. Do you think what I am doing is wrong?

I have a group of friends I don't like some in the group but when we meet those friends are there. If I don't go to these social gatherings I get black mailed how can I drift away also we have a whatsap group if I leave that I will get questioned

I'm currently going through family and friendship problems. My parents argue almost every night, but refuse to get a divorce because of me and my sister. My mom is basically on the verge of becoming toxic as well, which doesn't help with my self-esteem. As for friendship problems, my main friend group just split (there were 4 of us). This leaves me with the two other girls, but I always feel excluded, as they are closer to each other than they are to me. The exclusion can get pretty bad, with them whispering to each other while I'm right next to them, and if I try to leave them to sit with my other friends during lunch, they get really defensive. I've just started high school, so I'm under a lot of stress and don't know what to do. Usually people come to me when they feel like they want to stop trying, as I'm usually the happier person. This leaves me with no one I can talk to and I don't even want to try anymore.

So I am a supervisor...and a guy at work invited to his wedding. At first I thought I was part of the "coworkers" group of people he invited, but he only invited 3 people from work. We are not like super friends or anything so I was very honored when he invited me but left me thinking why? As a supervisor, I love making an impact on my teams. I wonder if I made such an impact on him at some point that he wanted to share this special day with me. What do you think? Any comments?

I'm a 16 year old junior. Freshmen are 8th graders in my district so they're even smaller and more annoying/loud.

I requested the day off about 2 weeks in advance but when I checked the schedule for this week I found I was working the exact date of my best friends party. I asked my manager and boss if there was any way that I could have the day off and they said no cause no one else could fill the shift. I asked some of my coworkers if they could come in and they said no. I'm at a loss and don't know what to do? Should I make up and excuse or tell my friend the truth?

We've been broken up for months. I texted him that I missed him and he went on a rant and wrote essays about how I hurt him etc it's been months but he was going on and on. i said things happened and were said that should t have. Then he went on to say how do you suppose things would workout now? How do you undo what was done etc I said better than the first time since experienced makes one better. He went on to say that he's spent the time bettering himself etc and that he didn't want to put himself in a situation that would hurt him again. I said I didn't want a relationship that would cause pain either and that I never meant to hurt him. He didn't respond I asked what are you doing. He replied a couple hours later that he was asleep. The following day we had a conversation I said it was hit and he said I should have my landlord install an ac unit. Couple days passed and I got a bit annoyed that he didn't text and thought maybe he was waiting for me and I was leaving the country. I said you despite all that I gave you the benefit of the doubt. It realized to no end. I say I miss you but you're still stuk in the past bitnerrness and resentment. He replied ok. I'm not going to argue with you. Enjoy your trip I didn't reply. Knowing his personality and the things he's said before and that he expected me to apologize I'm assuming he wants me to try harder so I don't hurt him. He didn't say I don't have feelings for you etc

My best friend's boyfriend has started to do things that strike me as odd. Like the other week he direct messaged me himself to ask if I was going out with them instead of just asking my best friend. Then the other night after we went to a party and got a little drunk, I sort of stumbled out of the truck and he quickly grabbed onto my waist and let his hands linger while asking me if I was okay and if I was sick. My best friend was on the other side of the truck so there was no way she would've seen that. I'm feeling weird about this and don't know if I'm overthinking it or if I should start distancing myself from him when we go out and do things. Is this normal behavior or should I be concerned?

i want to be friends with this one person from school and i've invited him to a party thing yesterday but he was busy and i checked him snap maps and he rly was busy. so like. tonight i snapped him saying that if he wants to hang out soon let us know and he said he'd be down... is it weird to ask him to do something tomorrow? this is 2 days after the party. please help!
