Posted: 06 Sep 2018 05:57 PM PDT This happened in July I went out of town with two friends and we stayed at one of the friends mother's house. While my two friends were gone the mother was talking about her daughter and the other friend to me. I said a few things on purpose just to see if she would repeat what I said (in fact she did). The mother also asked me questions about the girl and about who drove and who put gas in the car. All I did was answer the questions the mother goes back and switches up my answers to make it seem like I was talking stuff. She also lied to her daughter and the friend and said I was talking bad about them everything the mother said she lied and said I said it smh. My two friends automatically believed her over me and didn't even want to hear what I had to say. Example: one question the mother asked me about my friend was if she lived by herself all I said was no. The mother went back to her and made it seem like I was telling her business. She asked a question I answered it. I haven't talked to any of them since July, two of the three blocked me on social media I changed my phone number. I just want the truth to be known because I hate looking like the bad guy. Should I just walk away and don't look back? Should I tell them it was the mother who was the one talking about them? The mother is in her 60's her daughter in her 40's and the friend in her 30's. I've known all three of them for five years. Any advice is appreciated, thanks |

Posted: 06 Sep 2018 05:09 PM PDT Problem is if she knows that I'm on to her, she plays the poor me card, secretly gets angry and disappears. Here's the deal. Then I get emails from HER other friend who I only know casually asking me for favors! Obviously she's reporting her anger to her friend, and the friend is trying to do some dirty work. I don't respond to the emails. What do you think of this person (user), and what's the agenda of her flying monkey friend? Just trying to understand. Did you ever deal with people like this? Are they dangerous? |
Question: Can I get in trouble doing this with a 13 year old girl? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 01:06 PM PDT I went to pick up my girlfriend Betty for our date and she was not ready so I talked to her 13 year old sister Amy. Amy told me she was having trouble with her math homework and ask me to help her until her sister was ready. I agreed to do that. I did this for several weeks and Amy raised her grade to A. I also became good friends with Amy. She was happy and so was her mother with the improvement in her grades. Betty decided she wanted to date someone else which was fine with me. However Amy wanted me to continue to help her with her math homework which was also fine with me. I like to help people when I can. I don't know Betty's new boyfriend so I have no way of knowing if he would have a problem with me being at their house helping her sister. However Betty did not want me there when her new boyfriend was there. I told Betty, Amy, and their mother they needed to work this out as I did not want to cause any problems with anybody. Amy's solution was for me to help her with her homework in her room with the door closed so Betty's boyfriend would not know I was there. I had previously helped Amy in her kitchen. Her mom was OK with this as she said she trusted me completely. I am not sure I am comfortable doing that. For the record I HAVE NO ROMANTIC INTEREST IN ANY 13 year old girl. I am 18. Please give me some advice on what I should do so I don't cause ANYONE a problem. |
Question: Does she sound too clingy? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 01:06 PM PDT I went on vacation for only two months and one of my friends told me she missed me so much and she even dressed up the first time she met me again. She was crying on the phone calls too. |
Posted: 06 Sep 2018 12:49 PM PDT It is my second week of college as a freshman and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I have barely made any friends except three girls. The friends I have made, I rarely see them throughout the week because everyone is so busy with classes. During the first week, those friends invited me places but they stopped doing that now. Also, I have joined clubs and went to two meetings last night. I'm going to another one tonight but at the clubs yesterday, I didn't meet anyone. My roommate barely talks to me. She has her own friends and goes off with them and never invites me. We only have small talk and I feel like she just wants to co-exist with me and not be good friends. Overall, I feel like people already have their friends here and are not open to making new ones. My college is small, only 2,000 people, so I feel like the girls are rude and cliquey. I'm no longer homesick and getting used to the life in dorm, but I'm so confused. I feel alone right now. Can someone offer me advice or help? |
Question: I have no friends and feeling depressed everyday? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 10:22 AM PDT I'm a freshman this year and it is impossible for me to make friends. Everyone says just open up and say hi. But no I just can't do that. Not even that. I have a low self esteem and am extremely shy. The reason I don't talk much is because I talk slow and sometimes people laugh and mock me when I talk. And at lunch I sit by myself and look like a total loser. I just can't do it guys. Please help |

Question: I’m concerned about this please answer? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 08:54 AM PDT I have a friend that's 58 and I'm 26 and my friend has been sick lately and just having a rough time because she has been so preoccupied with her job. She has been stressed and having anxiety. I have been having a rough time too and I'm still going through it and I've been dumping all of my problems on her and I haven't really been here for her so yesterday I tried to listen to her better and be here for her but I feel like I can't keep being here for her like I need to be because I don't know how. I can't do anything about it but pray for her and I feel like she has kinda walked away from me but maybe it's because she's going through this rough time and I just keep on thinking about me so how do I fix this? I don't really want to talk to her anymore right now so I'll just pray for her but is that enough? |
Posted: 06 Sep 2018 08:13 AM PDT Is it ok to not wish someone a happy birthday who was my friend? She thinks we're still friends but I don't think so anymore because she can be rude sometimes and I have been kinda rude at times and yesterday she invited me to spend time with her for her birthday today and I said I said it's not a good day for me and she said ok. I just feel so selfish but I don't want to be around anyone because I'm going through something. I do see a psychiatrist and she knows I have been having this problem. I don't have a quality of life anymore. I haven't left my room in days and none of my friends understand so I just don't want any friends. I really want them to let me go because I've gotten mean and that's not usually like me and I tell them too much about my problems. They said that they will be my friends forever but I don't want that anymore. Please help me |

Question: Has my Iranian friend ditched me or has something horrible happened to them? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 05:36 AM PDT An Iranian befriended me on Facebook last year and before we knew it we were chatting almost everyday. This person started telling me I was the world to them and we exchanged poetry, met each others families (online) We became very close and hoped to meet each other in real life, but then they told me they had to go away and would call me as soon as possible. A month has passed an no word at all? Everything has been deleted? I cannot stop thinking about what might have happened to them? |
Question: How to regain popularity in highschool? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 04:19 AM PDT At my middle school I was extremely popular, I knew everyone...but then, I switched into another district which was like a whole nother city to me because it's so different, the environment and everything. I'm getting to know more people slowly, very slowly, but I still feel like an outcast and am not sure how to regain the popularity I once had. It's not about everyone like you or having a ton of friends, to me it's about being there for any and everyone when they need someone, knowing the people I will see later on in life... please help. |
Question: We both like each other now what? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 04:09 AM PDT Me and my best guy friend are long distance friends and we both like each other and we both know that we like each other and I wanna get closer with him but idk how to |
Question: We both like each other now what? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 12:27 AM PDT So my best guy friend knows that I like him and he likes me too and I wanna et closer to him but idk how to |
Question: I have nothing in common with my friends? Posted: 06 Sep 2018 12:10 AM PDT (I'm a middle school female) I have several friends that I love and they are special to me. I have been friends with them for years and we have always gotten along. As we got older, all they do is start drama and talk about middle school things (such as boys and brag about their grades). Well my personality is very different compared to theirs. I enjoy basic things, such as TV dramas and pop music. But I also like things that they don't like, for example they are all interested in middle school boys, while I have crushes on older guys (20-35) and I like to put on a full face of makeup, while they always say that I'm wearing too much. They have started so much drama and now our whole circle is torn apart, and I really don't care about drama. One of my friends is very naive and she acts like a child so much, that it becomes incredibly frustrating. Because they are so different from me, how can I be friends with them? |
Posted: 05 Sep 2018 09:24 PM PDT o my best friend that I consider as a sister has recently been talking to the guy that I used to like and talk to. The guy and I never had a relationship together, but we actually did like each other and we were about to date. I've known him for years and he's my friend as of right now, but I still don't want my best friend and him to be together for so many reasons. Him and I had something very special, even though I ended things with him, he will always be someone that is special to me. I don't like him or anything, but I somehow don't want him to be with her. In a way I feel betrayed. Even though she has said that she would never do that to me, I still can't help but get mad at it all. At one point I thought I was okay with it, but I just can't help but feel awkward and angry at both of them. Am I overreacting? |
Question: Should I bother contacting my friend again? Posted: 05 Sep 2018 09:17 PM PDT My friend lives in another town and I text her to update my about what's going on her life. I tell her to let me know about her school work and so on, but she does not tell me unless I ask her.. Is she being rude or has she moved on? |
Question: I want to know if someone in real life caught your question and was surprised? Posted: 05 Sep 2018 08:26 PM PDT Like if you had a question about your friend on how you starting to hate their personality and you think they change. You don't want to be friends with them anymore. What if that real life friend actually reads your comment? I had a friend of mine that read my comment so I was wondering if that happened to you guys? |
