I'm 20 years old and am struggling with the decision of moving from Colorado to California. I was born and raised in California and all my family except my stepfather, mom, and little brother live there. My mom raised me she was basically both my mom and dad. The reason I would like to leave is for a change as well as my grandparents are doing so well and I would like to be with them. I'm stuck between both as I would like to leave Colorado to be with the rest of my family or stay in Colorado and live with my mom who is everything to me. I want both choices but know I must make one.

My mom got a gift of petit robusto samples from her boss and shes not letting me taste any. She says she'll let me blow a several puffs or two when she puff them. I told her I just want to put it in my mouth without lighting it and she says if its cut now then its going to ruined the quality. I told her I'll just taste the lighting area that's already been cut and she says no its going to be moisturized. Then my mom and dad they accuses me of inhaling when they let me have a few puffs when my mom smokes her cigars. But I'm not. I dont inhale them, I only inhale when its not lit and there no smoke. They said thats dangerous and says baby is not going out on halloween, no shes not. And they already accusing me of going to be stuck up at my aunt house when we go to cincinnati for rosh hashanah. I just wanted to taste that cohiba from her sample box and they are not letting me. Fine if you guys dont want me tasting those expensive samples let me taste other cigars you have. I asked for her nub cafe macchiato and I wasn't even asking for a new uncut one, theres one that she was smoking last week and didn't finished. And they won't let me. She got that robusto sample box from her boss because my mom birthday is coming soon and that lady shes not going to be in office that day due to going on a trip so she gave her early present. I am not even asking for those expensive cigars but something else and they wont let me. How can I make them give it to me?

There is only one way to describe my mother-in-law (Judy). She is gorgeous. When she was younger she was a swim suit model and she kept that figure as she got older. She recently told my wife that she wanted to start dating again and hopefully get married. Much to my surprise, my wife told her that if male companionship was what she needed to make her happy, my wife was all for it. Judy told her that she was scared to death to start dating again. It had been years since she had been on a date. She said she would not know to act. My wife told her that I would be her date advisor. My wife wants me to tell her mother how guys act on a date and what they will want from Judy on their dates. This put me it a VERY TOUGH spot. Do I tell Judy the honest truth that she is so beautiful, hot, and sexy that most of her dates will want to have sex with her. Gals, how would you react if your husband told your mother she was hot and sexy and guys would want to have sex with her? Would I be in the dog house for life for telling Judy that. Is it possible that because Judy is so beautiful that she knows what guys want has not changed since she was a teenager/young woman. I am inclined to tell my wife I will not be Judy's date advisor and stay out of trouble with her. Is that a good idea? For the record I have NO romantic interest in Judy. Gals, please give me some advice.

My mom and I aren't exactly close. When we spend time together, it has to be in limited amounts and she's angry person altogether, so when we text, she comes off very irate, for some reason. This weekend, I ran a 5K race to benefit ovarian cancer research, since there's no screening for this disease. It was a great cause and I'm a runner, so I loved the whole experience. I posted a photo of myself at the event and my mom commented "Are you getting screened at this event? it's only useful for those who take care of themselves" WTF??? She obv doesn't believe in doing anything GOOD just for the sake of it and she NEVER supports me on my races. She does nothing with her life for me to support and congratulate her on. (she's a cashier at a supermarket and spends her nights on FB ranting about poitical news). I don't want to cut ties with my mom, but WHY is she so bitter and unsupportive?? Am I missing something?

I tolerate most of my family except for my mother. No matter how much I try to like her I just can't. She's done to me so many disrespectful things that I can't bear to actually like her. I have cut ties with some of my siblings and god did I get some heat for it. My mother would tell me how I was such a horrible human being for doing it. I have talked to her several instances on how I feel about her. She'll ignore them or laugh at me. A few years ago, she wouldn't stop telling me how "fat" I was and useless I was (keep in mind I was 150 lbs just had a child, working part-time, and going to college). Then I spoke up almost in tears and she laughed it off. I have defended myself before and she would pretend to be the victim in the situation and drag my name through the dirt to other family members and friends. So, of course, many of my family members think I'm ungrateful and disrespectful. She is full of negativity that it rubs on to me I end up being negative. She has gone behind my back and talk crap about me to my exes! What mother does that? I guess she just likes to treat me like ****. One of my siblings beat the crap out of her and even after that she treats him way better than me. I talked to my boyfriend and friends about it and they said I shouldn't because she is my mother she is "blood". That it speaks volume on how I'll treat others if I cut ties with my mom.

On WhatsApp, the family used old pictures of the kids and told me they were younger. I was told I'd be teaching English and doing light housework. Since I've been here, I've done lots of really exhausting housework cleaning the whole house and hoovering and doing 9 family members' washing (6 of whom are adults). Also, I have to work on the farm which is really strenuous. The family don't speak to me at all and today my host mum told me off for not talking enough and after she'd finished having a go she turned her chair so her back was to me and carried on the conversation and it was so fast I couldn't understand so i don't know how to join their conversations because I don't speak their language well enough! There's a cheap flight home in 2 days or one in about 9 days, I'm really miserable but I also want to try and stick it out. Which flight should I get?? Thanks everyone. I have had them homeschooled for 9 years, so that is why they will not be getting a diploma it is not my fault and it is not my fault they cannot drive as I refuse to teach them. They are 17. Why do they blame me for this when it is not my fault? I do hate them

I really dont understand what the big deal is when someone dies. I have never experienced sadness when anyone in my family died. I just read an article written by a young woman about how she was so hysterically sobbing when she found out her brother had hung himself that she actually got physically sick (like to her stomach) and how her heart "broke into a million pieces". I really don't see what the big deal is- I mean she was in her twenties so they didnt see each other everyday anyways- and it doesn't really impact her life directly. I actually get more upset about things that directly impact my life than when a family member dies. I have never experienced grief before. But why is this such a bad thing what happened to her? I mean people come and go in your life all the time- like you live with a roommate for a year and then they move out and you never see them again. People dont cry over that - how is what happened to her any different?

Many people say I'm beautiful and I have beautiful face but I feel ugly and I hate and get jealous of other girls these days. Why am I feeling like this?

I'm religious and I stay with parents until marriage, so I never travel with friends. I am socially awkward so I am not that sociable. I get really jealous of the girls that on social media they have selfies with other girls and socialize and are always happy. They also look like models.

Heres the catch, she said that the her son has amblyopia and needs surgery on the eyes and that she needs my help for paying for it. Im 25 she's 21. What do I do? Im so overwhelmed.

My family is in dire straights. I'm seventeen, and I have a job to help as much as I can, but 5 separate incomes isn't enough to do more than get us by. 6 of us are living in a rundown, pest ridden trailer that is only 800 square feet. In the summer, we have no central AC, just hardly functioning window units. In the winter, the tiny space heaters we have short out the whole house. Our whole yard is overgrown with trees and poison oak. We've had it rough for a few years after being flooded out and losing everything twice and being forced to move around a lot. FEMA money only went so far, but we've been denied for grants and loaned, and we just need more help than we can manage. I'm also trying to find a way to get into college since this is my senior year, but I'm torn because I can't just leave them here while I study. A career would help, but that's too far off. My $8/hour grocery job isn't helping. What can I do? How can we get help with poor credit? Any advice would help.

My son's father was in jail for 4 months and got released on probation. He came to my door and said " I haven't seen you in 4 months dude" he was like " do you have a boyfriend?" So I told him I'm single as ****. The only reason I talk to him is because he's the baby's dad.
