Question: Friend won't leave me alone at work;going to get me fired..what to do? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 04:40 PM PDT She thinks it's no big deal but I've gotten some dirty looks from upper management. My friend got yelled at twice today for trying to mess around with me. |
Question: Should I be mad at my best friend? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 03:30 PM PDT So it's the last week of summer and I've been trying to hang out with my best friend all week and something always comes up. Today, instead of using her free day tohang out with me she hang out with her other friends from her school and then she TOLD ME ABOUT IT!! She's kind of acting like a dick about the whole thing but I haven't said anything about it to her yet. Should I be mad?? |
Question: Are these things normal for girl friends to do? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 03:04 PM PDT Saying I love you every day Cuddling Rubbing foot on other person Sleeping in same bed Telling each other everything/no secrets Saying you'd rather marry each other than men Spending time with each other all the time Seeing each others bobs Is this normal or do you think lesbian more so |
Question: Is she flirting with me? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 01:54 PM PDT There's a girl who regularly calls me over to take a picture with herself and a friend. She wants me next to her when taking pictures and tells me to get closer to her. I told her friend I'm not into selfies and I'm told they'll have to take care of that. So her friend came and got me for a picture with them when the girl wore something nice that showed her cleavage. Whenever I talk to her she calls me over for a selfie. I just wonder the intentions behind it and all |
Question: Am I wrong for starting to ignore this guy? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 11:33 AM PDT There's a guy at my job who acts protective of me and interested in my personal life. He would warn me of places, ask me a lot of questions about myself, and even looked up where I live. As time went on, he started complimenting me. I can admit I developed a crush on him so I lightly flirted back. One day I lost interest because I began questioning things about him like the fact he never shares anything personal about himself with me and would become evasive when asked about his personal life in front of me. Plus i heard conversations in ear shot about a woman he's suppose to marry, but they can't make it down the aisle. IDK if he's still with her or not. I just remember him complaining about her. He could have made it known to me he was available then. Feeling stupid I backed away. Ever since I became more serious with him, I noticed he became more "aggressive" with me. He would stop by my office more to ask me questions, play pranks on me, and try to make me laugh. Recently, my boss put together a meeting. I got to the conference room early and was sitting at the table and he decided to sit on the outside chairs of the table. He broke the silence and asked me questions about some personal time I took 3 wks prior. I cut the convo short and left the room. When I came back, he moved from where he was sitting and sat right next to me. The entire time he was acting crass and watching what I was doing on my computer & phone. He even went as far as to mimic my body language. Does he he notice my distance at all? Sorry for all the questions. It's just I'm a kind person and I feel like someone is trying to get close to me so they can hurt me. Oh and I forgot to add he also C-blocked another guy that was actually interested in me and openly single. That wasn't right. He even hugged me and kissed me at a holiday party after drinking a lot. |
Question: I can't move on from my friend's death? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 11:31 AM PDT It has been 3 years since she passed away, and I'm still struggling to move on. I'm a first year freshmen and I'm just so afraid of getting into a relationship because of this. I used to be a social dynamic person who loves to party and go out with girls for the fun, until I met her. We all have that one girl, who just make you stop what you are doing and focus on her. That's what she did to me. I started to like her and we fairly became close friend. I would tell her about my life and she does too. One thing that still haunt me for the rest of my life is, she said, "I used to have cancer, and I'm afraid of dying." Past Christmas, her friend told me at school crying, "Destiny died this morning. She just never woke up." It struck me so hard. I never told her how much I love her, How much she changed my life and I couldn't ask for a better friend. Coming to now, there has been girls who were interested but I shut them down because they can never be like her, and I just feel so guilty of her death. |
Question: Is my friend being selfish or am I over reacting at this situation? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 08:08 AM PDT So my best friend is a girl and we've been really good friends for 3 or so years now. This weekend we went to Colorado to see our favorite band. We are staying at her brother's house and his roommate is going to the shows with us. Last night was the first show and during the show I felt like a 3rd wheel and very awkward. So during the show, this kid just kept talking to my friend and she kept talking back to him. It was annoying because all I could hear was them yelling over the music to talk. She even turned to me and said, "he keeps talking"... So at the set break, it got awkward for me... My friend and this guy were just talking to one another and left me out. I felt like a 3rd wheel just sitting and standing there with nothing to do. My friend has done this to me before where we went out to dinner with one of her friends on vacation and the whole time they're just talking to each other and I'm sitting there. I eventually got fed up and was like, "hey guys what are we doing tomorrow? Let's talk together and figure something out" and my friend laughed... But am i over reacting? This is really pissing me off if I have to do this for the next 2 nights. I came on this trip to be with my friend and she is now sort of ditching me? |
Question: I need some advice will you help me? Posted: 01 Sep 2018 06:45 AM PDT So friday my crush and i were doing group work it was stuff about housing and bills and stuff like that than we got on the topic of marriage we started to joke about that than all of a sudden I turned to her and jokingly said will you marry me she blushed and laughed do you think that was a good thing to say |
Question: I really need help with this? Posted: 31 Aug 2018 09:29 PM PDT I haven't been myself lately and I'm still not myself so I was becoming distant from my best friend and then I messaged her yesterday morning and told her what's been going on and then today we texted but I feel like I want to become distant again because I talk too much to her and I've been complaining to her too much about this but I guess she has seemed ok with it so is it ok for me to become distant again? |
Question: Why do children see me as a friend? Posted: 31 Aug 2018 06:56 PM PDT Ive done a lot of placements because I'm learning to be a teacher and I notice that every teacher Ive met always sit on a chair when they teach at the carpet area. But when I sit directly on the carpet with the students, they always see me as their peer. They make comments such as "you can play with us", "I wish you were my teacher" and so on. |
Posted: 31 Aug 2018 06:03 PM PDT if it helps, the context is that i've found out someone in my friend group is trans and im pretty sure im the only one who knows. i want to support her but i haven't been able to contact her for a few days so i sent a dm message in groupme asking if she'd let me follow her again on twitter-which she recently made private-and she hasn't responded. i don't know if i should keep pushing for a response in case otherwise she'd have no one to talk to here (we're freshmen on our third week of college, so we don't know a lot of people yet) or if i should just assume she's not going to let me in until she feels like coming out to the rest of the group. |
Question: Is this normal for a friend to do? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 06:50 AM PDT My old friend ruined our friendship when my crush accepted her Facebook request. She was saying stuff she knows will piss me off so I would stop talking to her. |
