We've been broken up for months. I texted him that I missed him and he went on and wrote essays about how I hurt him etc it's been months but he was saying how I didn't apologize in a timely manner and allowed him to suffer.i said things happened and were said that shouldnt have been said. Then he went on to say how do you suppose things would workout now? How do you undo what was done etc, knowing his personality he's trying to get me to say why we should get back together. I said better than the first time since experienced makes one better. I moved to new city to study in university. I have two options of rooming. 1- rooming with three strangers, all of them are friends with each other and they are studying at university personally I think they are cool (first impression) but my familly worried because they are still strangers. 2- rooming with a friend of my brother (living in the same small town) I personally met him once he is clearly a hard working introvert like myself. I noticed that many people from school are ignoring me since the end of last year. I don't know what I did, but they seem to not like me anymore. I've tried literally everything to get accepted. When I'm around smart people, I share my knowledge about a certain topic and express my smart personality... but I still get ignored as "I'm not like them." They would always question why I'm hanging out with them.. I always had to make up excuses because to be socially accepted, you MUST never be a loner. (I even gave them the bloody notes for Modern History and still get ignored) When I'm around popular people, I try to act like them to be accepted and not be lonely. I've tried so HARD, but I still get ignored. I never get invited to social events because I'm either too "weird" or perceived as too creepy... My music taste is far different from the majority as I'm the only one in our year who likes metal... my hair is long and because of that I'm perceived as an emo who doesn't do his work even though these aren't true. The amount of times I had to repeat myself... the amount of times I felt lonely af... the amount of times I've been ignored... I don't know what I should do tbh... P.S don't tell me to go to youth centers or camp as they don't work out for me... I'm so afraid of graduating Highschool not having anyone to hug or take photos with. I'm 14 and a freshmen I just started school two weeks ago. Ever since 6th grade i've been bullied alot and haven't had friends ever since. I get super nervous around tons of people and get all choked up. At this point I just avoid everything that has to do with people. I don't eat lunch at school I hide in the bathroom. Long story short: When I started college in 2014 I met a girl and we were friends for a year. In a sense I was always jealous of her because she was really popular with everyone she met. I have been friends with someone for 10 years. Her husband has a long term illness which at times has meant they have needed help with getting their son to school and other errands when their car has broken down etc. I have always helped them out and been glad to do so. Recently, her husband has been put under pressure by his work place. The solution was for me to help out with travel occasionally, which I did, but from the outset I confirmed to him and his employers that there would be times I was working away. Fast towards a few weeks and my house suffered a small fire (nothing too serious but it caused damage which needs plenty of time investing to repair). That week I was away and explained that he would have to make other arrangements. After this, he was put under some pressure from his employer which led him and my friend to be rather curt with me when we interacted after that. I had done my bit and always gone out of my way to travel to their house out of my way (even though my friend/his wife was also working nearby but made the excuse of having to leave the office on time each day to pick up their son so she couldn't drive her husband). So I've been friends with my best friend for years, and she's the only friend I have at school and she's overall my only friend whom I see regularly, but recently she got a new friend and I've become a third wheel. I normally try not to make friends from work. I guess it all depends if we have stuff in common. I've met people at past jobs for drinks but never made a good friend. I thought this one guy I work with can be ok. I've hung out with him twice and he's told me things I know I shouldn't say. He's givin me rides home. So I'm thinking hes ok. Yet I tell him something he can go back and tell certain co workers. Like stuff I don't want said. He said something that can get me in trouble. He can gossip and I've kept secrets. Yet he can go back and tell my co workers what I said. Would you trust a co worker like that? I try to make friends outside of work. There's a bar I like going to and There's people I like there. I went to a friends house and with permission from her neighbor, she said I could park behind her car and block her neighbor's driveway. Ok so a couple months ago, this girl who said she wanted to hang out as friends cancelled our coffee date. I wasn't working at the time and I'm wondering maybe if that turned her off. My roommate and I didn't get along while living together. I've recently moved into my uni accommodation, I'm a first year and I don't start my course till next week however I don't feel like I fit in with my flat mates.
