In the beginning of our friendship, my bestie was always so caring and I really did seem important to him. Now...I'm overlooked. He never asks me "how are you?" or "are you okay?" He doesn't seem to care if I'm down or going through a rough time. I do not feel like I'm important to him at all. This really bothers me since I always try to be there for him and I take interest in his well being and what's going on in his life. I show him that he's important to me. I know when you love someone you're not supposed to expect love in return but he treats his other (female) friends better. I feel neglected and hurt. I want to bring it up to him but I'm scared that he'll just think I'm blowing things out of proportion or think I'm just being a crazy, dramatic girl. Please help, do I tell him? Is there any thing I can do to earn his respect or get him to value me? Maybe I'm just being stupid? Thank you for your answer/advice. |

We are all friends on the team but there is a guy who caught my interest when I first started playing. He seemed really shy/reserved but I noticed he was very talkative with everyone else. He would look at me or laugh when I said something, but he was still reserved around me. He would start to come up and initiative conversations when we were in a group and would joke or pat me on the arm when talking about a play. I am a friendly person and I get along with everyone on the team, so there isn't really a reason that someone would be reserved to talk to me. At first I thought maybe he didn't like me, but since he initiates conversations now, I don't think that was the case. I found out he has been dating someone on and off, so I of course am not interested anymore, but a part of me does wonder why he was acting that way. They work at the same job. He doesn't talk much about his gf he told me she loved him and he told me her parents didn't like him and didn't want her dealing with him. The day after he bluntly told her he met someone else he texted her "hey sweetie how are you doing" the day after that he texted her "hey sweetie how are you doing again"(who texts someone the day after telling them they're leaving them for someone else?) we became a couple March 10th the day after (March 11th) she told him she missed him and he said he missed her too then he asked her was she st work that day (why did he care if she was at work or not) the week after she initiated a few conversations with him and basically they tried to meet up he was trying to clear his schedule to see her. Two weeks went by and neither one of them texted each other and around 8:30 Saturday he texted her "hey how are you doing" she didn't reply this week she texted him she missed him and said "i hope you're doing alright"he texted back "i hope you're doing alright sweetie I'm doing good" she never texted back... and three hours later he sent another text "i miss you too sweetie" (why did he wait hours later to tell her he missed her?) we saw his ex in the store he said hey to her and they began talking and he started bringing up their little inside jokes he started teasing her asking her about a job she applied for |

I go to a party school. Saturday I went hiking with my two friends and their boyfriends. This 3rd wheel, 5th wheeling, even 7th wheeling happens all the time. I'm stressed because I have a plan for my life. I've wanted a boyfriend all of college because after college, I'll be too busy the first few years for a new relationship. I want to join the Peace Corps then go to grad school. Those things are going to require too much energy for a boyfriend and then the next thing I know I will be mid-20s and still single. I didn't want to hear any excuses because im tired of his lies and trting to rationalize bad behavior. I've asked a couple of my guy friends and they all say i overrreacted. The way I ledt him was very abrupt i said, " Im gonna block you so now you have time to text that ***** who's pictures you love to comment on" and he gave me a bs excuse so i blocked him. For the past couple of years she has been unlucky in love, in the last 6 months she has been serious about 4 guys (one after the other) and it hasn't worked out with the last one. The day things ended she was on a tinder date - this was two weeks ago, they've now been on around three or four dates and she invited him to a party with all his friends (he pulled out at the last minute). She's stayed at his house and really jumped in. I know she wants to meet someone and settle down but I can't help feeling she's moving so quickly and keeps jumping into each realationship and pushing it too quickly and they keep going wrong. I had a chat with her today to see how it was going with this guy and she's really happy (as she has been with the other guys) I said to her that maybe she should take things a bit slower this time and get to know him before introducing him to her friends and us as it's hard to get to know someone properly after a few dates. She does things that make me think otherwise. Like for example the other I was working self check out. I was helping this college girl with something and she was staring at me the whole time. Normally she waits for her ride up front which is by the registers. before that she would look and look away over and over again but when I was helping the college teen she stared the whole time. she didn't look away. Also another time I caught her spying on me through he clothes racks when a group of girls were checking out at the self check. What do you think of this behavio |

Posted: 15 Apr 2018 03:01 PM PDT Don't get confused, we text all day good morning to goodnight. everyday. never miss a day. and we call every other day and talk for hours. its great. but when we are on call hes always playing games with his friends which is fine. he works full time. i get it. but its been a while since we've had alone time. so for the past couple weeks we keep planning to watch something and ill be waiting and he completely forgets. i cry everytime. i dont even bother him about it. the thing that upsets me the most is that he doesnt even reschedule it. and everytime i want to finally tell him how i feel he tells me how bad things r at work and then i decide to not bring it up. alone time is so important to me. long distance is hard enough as it is.. i just cant tell if im asking too much. |

So I'm afraid to end the relationship, but I probably will soon. I dont like being in relationships because there's problems like jealousy and incompatibility. I like relationships because they're exciting, but overall it seems like I never found anyone that I could imagine being married to. It seems like if I'm in a relationship then break up, i can go about a year without one, but then inevitably i find myself back in another one.
