We have been seeing each other for a month and a half now. He hasn't told me, most likely because he doesn't want to scare me off. I have not yet asked about the kid. I don't even know how I would go about asking. My mom thinks it's better off if I just walk away (she is a very judgemental person). But, I really like this guy and I can tell he genuinely likes me. He's different: he always texts me first, asks me to go on cool dates with him, pays for everything, compliments me, we get along really well, he's really affectionate, really laid-back, we have the same sense of humor, and have some of the same interests. |

We arranged me sneaking into her room (her parents went away for the night and had a student from the college they work at stay at the house to make sure no one came over..oops). I got there at about 11pm and we just talked and watched movies in her room and basically kept it pretty PG-13. I left around 6:30am and all was good, we were happy. But yeah, not sex or anything. So that night, her dad calls me (he s ex-military etc so this is very scary) and basically says I have broken any relationship I have with the parents and that I m going to realize that this isn t worth it, and basically that I was a snake in his tent. My parents being reasonable were disapointed but knew being teenagers that this was probably going to happen sooner or later. Hers on the other hand flipped ****. She got her iphone replaced with a flip phone, they ordered cameras to put up with a clear view of her bedroom(including the window used to enter the home), and in some other areas of the house. I m not welcome inside and her parents are unfathomably mad at her. My parents talked to hers and concluded that hers are crazy over the top and that I shouldn t try to contact them, but I want to have a man to man talk with her father apologizing and at least softening the blow for my girlfriend. Turns out that latter was true since it was an actual psychological thing. So naturally I was depressed and thought I'd moved on until one year later: She's dating a friend of mine. "Dating" being a broad term. Now I didn't want her pity or do the "nice guy" routine so I just told her I was happy for her (which I am) but, turns out I'm not over her since this still stings me. Moderately depressed. Now I've been through all these stages before with her: The rejection, sadness, getting past it, etc. Taken my time and whatnot and I genuinely thought this wouldn't bother me but it does and I feel like an ****** for it. I only see 3 options. Mope around like a sad sack (which I did last year so really trying hard to avoid that). Leave her (which sucks because as much as I wanna be with her, I still really value her as a friend.) Force myself to go on dates (which I'm normally not into. She's the first and only person I've really felt like doing it with). What do I do? I feel like an ****** for still having these feelings since it makes me feel like I'm valuing her less as a friend. I don't have any family and right now no friends either for plain companionship. I've dated a little and gotten some of what I need from that but.. A. I find it hard to find people I want to date as I'm pretty socially isolated. B. I get attached thus get hurt by guys ghosting or messing me around. I need intimacy (not just sex...but yeah, sex too!) and companionship - I keep staying with guys no good for me due to that, getting messed around as I become attached. There must be a better way! |

All three occasions, I'm walking my dog, while my neighbor stops to talk to me as he's driving by on his way out somewhere. The first time he stopped, we talked about our dogs. The second time he stopped, he gave me some tips about the neighborhood, where we both moved here from, random stuff. The 3rd time he stopped, I was a few feet from the road, he saw me, stopped and rolled down his window, so I walked over to him because I couldn't avoid him. He told me he was on his way to the store, how he hates going to the store, etc. etc. etc, then asks me about my car and told me he works on cars and to let me know if I need any work done. then he said, "I just wanted to stop by to say HI". Each time we chat I think I feel a vibe that he's definitely attracted to me. Could I be mistaking this for my attraction to him instead? I have a bad habit of doubting myself afterwards, and think maybe he's just being friendly. The more I see him, the more attracted to him I become, but I have no idea why I feel this way. In 8th grade I thought about which high school he went to and hoped I would go to the same one. And at last... I did and I'm so grateful that I am. I found him the 2nd week of school and I'm sure that's him because he has all the same features, the blank stare he has in his eyes the same watch,he's even carrying his binder around just like how I remembered. And today I looked up and he was walking then he looked up and he stared at me back.. it felt so long but it was probably like 3 seconds, he looked so surprised and I have no idea why but it was a solid 3 seconds then his friend and him kept walking but he turned around to glance at me again.. and I've been pondering why? I would be so happy if he even remembers me but I'm too afraid that I'm getting my hopes up however I feel more confident than 7th grade and that I can talk to him. But he's a sophomore..wouldn't he think it's weird |

| Posted: 19 Feb 2018 04:44 PM PST So I am a freshman in college and there is this guy in my one class that I had never talk to before...until on Monday. When I was walking out of the building, he walks up behind me and just starts talking to me. It was going smoothly and he seemed really nice. He even told me that if I was having any trouble with the course content then I could borrow his notes. He also asked me if I was a sophomore because he said he has seen me around on campus and I always seems to just know where I'm going? lol kinda confusing. I ended the conversation so I could break off and go to my residence hall (he lives in a different one) but he seemed reluctant? Like he didn't want to stop talking. I thought maybe this was just a one time thing but then when we had class again yesterday, he waited for me to pack up and walked with me out the door again all the way to my residence hall, asking me about my classes, my life, where I'm from, etc., and then I broke it off again to say I had to go to my residence hall because he didn't seem to want to stop talking. I can't tell if he is being super friendly and wants to be friends or if he has an interest in me? He hasn't asked me for my number so maybe he just wants to walk with someone on his back to the dorms. I had class today and he didn't walk with me back to our dorms. He walked with his friend instead. Why did he stop? |

Posted: 19 Feb 2018 04:11 PM PST It seems every date I go on with someone I meet online, she is much heavier and fatter than her profile indicated. Either the photos are old, or they are intentionally taken to hide their weight. I mean I get why they may want to do it, but do they not realize that guys they go on dates with are going to SEE them in real life? They can only fool men for so long... It also calls into question the following: What else are they deceiving me about? It essentially calls their honesty into question when their honesty may be rock solid otherwise. My only logical explanation for this is that they want to get guys to click on their profile, and not actually meet them.....but then why create a profile in the first place? |
