Question: How do young people get married when the average price of an engagement ring is 6k? Posted: 07 Jul 2019 07:56 PM PDT I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I know some couples who got married right after graduating college ( not rich) How do they do this vwhen the average cost of an engagement ring is 6k?
Question: Should I make my cousin my bridesmaid or my fiancé's sister? Posted: 07 Jul 2019 12:33 PM PDT I am having a hard time choosing between the two. I was in my cousin's wedding eight years ago as her maid of honor (which was really surprising to me because we aren't that close, but I'm assuming only because she doesn't have any sisters). I haven't really spoken to her much since then (only briefly when she was getting divorced and mostly to her mother). I feel like I am closer to my future sister-in-law whose wedding I was not in (which stung a little bit at the time). So I guess I am asking, am I obligated to ask my cousin/should I ask her or should I ask my fiancé's sister?
Question: How bad of an idea is it to get married the same month as my brother? Posted: 07 Jul 2019 04:22 AM PDT My brother plans to get married on November 16. My fiancé and I were thinking about booking a church on November 2. Would that be too much wedding for one family in a month?
Question: What can I do for a wedding reception that isn’t traditional? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 07:53 PM PDT Okay so I want to have my wedding ceremony in a different country. I really hate receptions but I can't just get these people to come to this foreign country and then have a 15 minute ceremony and tell them to leave. I would probably have a reception anyway a few weeks later so that we could celebrate with the people who couldn't make it to the wedding. Basically do you have any tips on how to make receptions more fun/interesting? I'm just not a fan of the normal traditions like just eating, dancing, drinking, and a photo booth or something. But what else is there to do lol
