Question: How can I get my crush to like me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 07:51 PM PDT So me and him are co workers and both 16. I have feelings for him, but he claims he wants to be single and he has never dated nor had feelings for a girl. He also said he thinks of all his friends as siblings, and he doesn't plan to ever date, get married, or even start a family. I try to make moves on him, but he never notices. Should I try different methods or just give up?

Question: Are these all signs that this guy is a player and I should stop talking to him? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 07:18 PM PDT We met a week ago and we're both in our late 20s. He seemed like a really nice guy and was very attentive. He was calling me, texting me and acting as if he was very interested. Asked me on a tentative date and was pretty much in constant contact. This is random but we were talking about social media and I mentioned that I don't use facebook but I do have an instagram. He replied "I have that and I have snapchat". Then later in the week I asked sent him a link for a cool article that was linked on instagram and he said "I don't have one of those". He was talking to me yesterday and seemed pretty engaged and now today I texted him and said that I look forward to talking to him tonight and he said "I'm retiring from the calls for a little bit haha". Then he was really kind of short with any replies to me and just sending smiley face emojis. Then at around 9:30pm he texted me and said "heading out for the night" which to me implied he was going to be otherwise engaged and unable to talk with me. It's a Saturday night.... Should I assume this guy is on a date and I'm not his first option and just the back up plan? Are these bad signs or am I reading into this too much? When we first me we
Question: Should I just give up on this guy and move on? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:55 PM PDT Both in our late 20s. He seems like a nice guy and was very attentive the first couple of days that we were talking. We talked on the phone and were texting back and forth getting to know each other. We only live 30 minutes apart but have both been working since we met. He's initiated most of the calls and texts. So I decided to do the same and start initiating them to show I'm just as interested. Today I texted him while we were both working and said that I look forward to talking to him tonight. He replied "Yea I think I'm retiring the calls for now". Then he was kind of cold to me for the rest of the day and was just responding to me with a smiley face emoji. Then he texted me and said at around 9:30pm "heading out, have a good night" I wrote back and said have fun and that was it. Is it clear that if he's heading out on a Saturday night and not interested in talking to me that he's on a date or clearly just not that into me?
Question: Is she interested in me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:55 PM PDT I asked her "are you (her name) the actress? If you are can I ask you anything?" and she said "yes I am and yes u can" and I said "I first saw you in a horror movie I don't remember what it was called but I think your character name was Emma. And I've seen you in Heartland. Do you live in Alberta?" and she said "I have a ranch out in Alberta my hometown is Vancouver though. Sometimes I'm in Alberta and other times I'm in Vancouver.

Question: Tips on meeting people in new city? live in downtown area? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:37 PM PDT im 27 and part of a small healthcare startup so im limited from meeting new people through work. it seems most people that live in downtown are either already married or international and extremely wealthy so i dont quite fit in.

Question: Do I break up with my girlfriend? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:17 PM PDT So I've had this girlfriend for about a month now, it's been sweet. We get along quite well as our personality's match very well and our sense of humour is also quite similar too. Recently she took me to a party in which a lot of her friends were at and well one of her friends caught my eye as physically I won't lie she was more attractive than my girlfriend and her personality also seemed quite nice too. Straight away this girl stood out and she's been stuck in my head for days now. My girlfriend actually said to me that she was asked by the girl who was I and was I single because she liked me or something like that. My girlfriend of course said yeah he's my boyfriend and such. This girl however has been stuck in my head as she seems like a better fit for me I guess like I feel bad for thinking about her more than my girlfriend. Should I ask my girlfriend for her number to become friends with the girl or something like that? Just to test the waters to see if I really like this girl too?

Question: Is he trying to make me jealous? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:12 PM PDT Ok so I'll try keeping this short. I was seeing a guy for 2 weeks and then I told him nicely that I don't see it working but we can stay friends. He told me that he will have to delete me on snap and on my phone so he don't get tempted to message me haha anyway today he added me back on snap just before he posted a pic of him and another girl kissing and he sent me a message asking how I was. It's pretty obvious that he probs added me back on snap so I would see and get jealous. Weird thing is I'm not jealous lol but the question I'm asking is why is he asking how I am? Should I reply back or leave it? And by him messaging me does that mean he still cares and genuinely cares how I am or is he just being spiteful and trying to make me feel jealous. To be honest it pissed me off a bit him just rubbing it in my face
Question: Why is my manager nervous around me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:11 PM PDT Mainly it is when his wife is around they actually both will completely guiet around me as if I don't exist. But you can cut the tension with a sword really. It gets pretty tense and they start whispering. But when each of them is not together they will speak actually she seems to really like me. He gets nervous and seems to say my name everytime he sees me with a hand shake and an awkward smile. At first I thought it was in my head but it happens every encounter. He is also in his late 40s I'm in my 20s she is in her 40s too. So I'm just confused and uncomfortable about the whole thing. I can't help but notice either.
Question: Is this boy i like ghosting me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:11 PM PDT We hungout on Sunday. It was super fun and everything was honestly so great. So we were texting after and, as always we never say "bye" in our texts we just go do bed and continue whatever we were talking about the next day. Typical. BUT the last time we talked was Tuesday night. Today is Saturday night. Why is he not texting me back? Or continuing the conversation? Like he's just gone. Maybe bc its the 4th of july weekend? Idk i am confused. (Context- both of js just graduated high school and we r going to ivy league schools)
Question: My boyfriend doesn’t want to marry me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:10 PM PDT I've been with my boyfriend for almost seven years now, and I'm not trying to rush anything but I've tried to talk to him about the possibility of marriage and he just brushes me off. He says that he doesn't believe in marriage and that it's just a waste of money but he does want to be with me forever. What do I do?
Question: My children and I arrived back from our vacation yesterday.? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:08 PM PDT It was literally the first time we were able to come together for a break away from school and work. Today, I just feel so, so sad. I want to cry every time I think of the beautiful beach. I keep thinking of all the fun we had, the food, and the people we met and I so desperately want to go back. Are these feelings normal and will they go away?
Question: Why did he have this convo with me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:07 PM PDT So he's a young doctor I work with. We've had our spats or when he's told me something he's realized i have a leader personalitY(also applying to medical school). I was in his office and he said yeah even working in this company he isn't his own bossy might as well work for uber I said yes. Then he said well atleast I'm your boss. I was uncomfortable and looked to my side. He said you did'nt like that did you? I said no. He said I know smiling. I said how do you know? He said because no one can tell you anything..not even your man. I found this strange I said yes because i'm powerful and it has to be equal and he has to respect me. He said yes but you have to put down your walls a bit. I said yes becasue I don't let people in, no one's on my level. He said I know no one's on MY level. I said really? he said yeahi Have my walls up too. I said then why are you telling me to put my walls down when yours are up? He said because I'm working on mine too. Why did he have this conversation with me? He also always smiles when talking to me, makes jokes etc.
Question: I have been hung up on someone for three years, will I ever be able to move on? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:02 PM PDT I will try to keep this brief. I've known this girl for a decade, and have had strong feelings for her for four years now. She knows how I feel, but her feelings aren't mutual. She will probably never agree to date me. Will I ever get over this girl? We are good friends who grew up together, attended school together, went to church together, etc. Her friendship means the world to me, but I can't let my romantic feelings for her go, even after three years of rejection. Will this go on forever? What can I do to stop this prolonged pain? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:35 PM PDT I met this guy online. First date, we hugged for good bye. At the end of the date, he tried to kiss me, but aimed wrong. I was confused and gave him the cheek as I thought that was what he wanted. I actually wanted him to kiss me. I could tell he get upset. He said we needed to do this again, I did not understand him. Later he cancelled our third date and refused to communicate with me. I had hoped to rectify the situation on the 3rd date. Now I am heart broken. I like him very much. What should I do? Please help. Is it that a deal breaker if you offered a guy cheek on 2nd date? I have told him after the date that I love to see him again. Have I done enough to make him get the message that I like him actually?

Question: My boyfriend hasn't talked to me in days, should I be worried? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:22 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been doing distance for a while, and we've been having a few issues with communication. As in, I feel like we don't talk enough. He works two jobs, and we work opposite hours. He works night shifts and gets off work around 4am, while I get off work around 4pm. Our hours often overlap and we don't get to talk very much because of that. But when he does have free time he rarely talks to me with it. I'm always the one to text first, call first, make plans, etc. We've been together almost a year now. These last couple days I haven't heard from him at all. The last thing I texted was how I feel stressed and alone right now, and he read it and never responded. That was Thursday, and now it's Saturday and still no word. I'm used to replies being few and far between with him, but it's almost never more than 24 hours. He's been particularly reckless recently, and that makes me worry even more. I don't know how to check up on him either. I'm also torn because, he's either hurt or a really terrible boyfriend. To those asking, yes I've obviously tried to call him. I'm not an idiot. Thanks. I'm not more into him than he is into me, he talks about the future together more than I do. He's asked me to move in with him, and stuff like that. He's not just ghosting me. He'll respond eventually if he's okay. I was only asking if I should be concerned about his wellbeing.

Question: Should I believe my ex or my boyfriend ? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:00 PM PDT So me and my ex work together and we are very close friends we tell each other absolutely everything and we've been through a lot together but even though things ended badly between us ( he had really strong feelings for me but I didn't feel the same and after a few months of awkwardness we eventually got over it and he is now in a relationship with someone else and so am I but we're still best friends). So anyways he told me he saw my boyfriend out walking with another girl he said he was certain it was him and that he was with some blonde girl but when I asked my boyfriend he denied it and said it wasn't true but I'm just so confused and don't know what to think. I completely trust my boyfriend and now he would never cheat but I don't know why my ex would say he seen him walking with some girl but then my boyfriend said he didn't. My boyfriend thinks my ex could be lying to try and cause problems in our relationship as he believes my ex still has feelings for me and that he would drop his current girlfriend for me. But I don't think he still has feelings for me, why else would he have a girlfriend if he had feelings for me. Who should I believe ?
Question: I live with my parents at 23? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:59 PM PDT It's making me feel insecure. I still want to be with my parents and hang out with them. I still want to hang out with my brother. Idk what is wrong with that but apparently it's not acceptable in American culture

| Question: Would you date a bald girl? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:47 PM PDT Doesn't have to be someone going through chemotherapy, having alopecia or or other conditions that makes you lose hair. | Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:38 PM PDT My bestfriend and I have been friends since we were 9 (were 16 now..) and we're polar opposites. including our guy tastes. Until now. I liked this guy (Alex) and of course she knew. She knew his friend (Josh) so i decided to invite her, Alex, and Josh to a concert. I flirted with Alex and stuff and had a great time. Fast forward a month later and we were at a party. She was whispering to all of the other girls and leaving me out so i left in tears. The next morning she explained she caught feelings for Alex and kept it from me and told the rest of the girls but didn't want to hurt me. I said it's fine it's just you really hurt me. Now all the girls call Alex her "boy" and it makes me very uncomfortable and upset. Today, I just saw that she was with Alex AND Josh without inviting or telling me. I called her a snake and I'm just so furious with her. Does she really have to go for Alex?? (Alex doesn't like either of us, he doesn't want a GF. ) |

Question: Is she interested in me? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:12 PM PDT I've known this girl for over 10 years. We've grown up together and our families are very close. Very recently I started noticing our interactions were a little different. She's always laughed at my jokes no matter how ridiculous, and we seem to be getting more personal with each other. We talk about our lives and our aspirations and a lot more than just random kid stuff like when we were growing up. I brought up us possibly being in a relationship about a month ago, but she no right now, but maybe it's something that could happen in the future. Things didn't really change after. We still talk almost everyday, and she always apologizes for not immediately responding to me during our conversations if its been a while. When we're together she always makes a point to grab my hands and is always looking for a hug or some kind of attention. When our families are together we really only spend time with each other while everyone else is together. She does also have a tendency to always give me advice or just tells me what to do. Sometimes it even seems like she knows what I'm thinking or how I'm feeling. Basically what I'm trying to figure out is whether or not she has any interest in me beyond the relationship we already have? Thanks
Question: I cannot stand my male cousin? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:10 PM PDT My cousin is 30 years old and I have had more success with woman than he has. I have always dated some bad some good. I am in a happy relationship now for about 10 years. He is still single he has always been maybe only one girlfriend when he was younger.Every time there is family parties and I bring my wife he dresses extra nice or snaps at us with his fingers so we can give him attention. I find this quite rude or he just sometimes stares. He also tried serving my wife meat tacos and she was very mad because she is vegetarian. I am not sure what his problem is with us? Demanding our attention like if we owe him something what do you think?
Question: In a situation like this, is the woman to blame? Or is the guy? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:08 PM PDT Two friends of mine , a guy and girl . Both aged forties , were seeing each other for sexual and emotional purposes but not a true relationship. I am not sure how long they were seeing each other. But it is to be believed , for several months. Recently the woman , mixed alcohol and pills together and she died. She'd been in contact with the guy prior to this incident. All she wanted was to come over and spend the night and cuddle and have someone to talk to. But the guy rejected her company. The guy now feels bad and somewhat responsible for this outcome. Do you think the guy in this situation is selfish and took this woman over the edge? Or do you think she let her emotions get the best of her and it is simply an unfortunate event? I was friends with both , and I am still friends with the guy...But I am second guessing wanting to be friends with him . because I feel the woman would still be here today if he would have not rejected her. By the way , he became involved with another woman , immediately after the other girl's death. Which means he was most likely already seeing the other woman beforehand or previously leading up the other's death.
