Question: Do you think I'm an immature girl? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 02:01 PM PDT I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm in high school. I've always loved studying, since I was a kid, and I always managed to get excellent grades. it just comes naturally to me and I've never had to struggle to get an A+ or a solid A. my teachers praised me especially for my grades in math and Physics and this year I was one of the best students in my hs. i usually study 2 hours a day, I pay attention during classes and at home I just need to read fast to memorize. at the same time, all the people who know me say I'm a typical girl of my age; I have few friends, but since January I go out with one of my schoolmates who's 16 too. the fact is, we don't want a committed relationship right now, we talked about it and we agreed to see each other just for having sex and little more. I'm on the pill, probably we should use a condom, but until now I've never been pregnant and I never had any infection or sexually transmitted disease. I just use school to get along with my schoolmates and to discover love, sex and pleasure, just like it's happening to me. In my future I want to graduate in math and then become a top researcher. but do I sound immature or weird to you?
Question: Have you ever gotten back together with an ex? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 01:50 PM PDT If yes, how did it end up? Marriage, still together, did you break up again?
Question: Should i decide to keep in touch with my (divorced) dad’s side of the family? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 10:59 AM PDT when i was 9 years old, my parents went through a tough divorce. my father has bipolar and he decided to stop taking his meds which resulted in the abuse of my mother and the potential reason for their divorce. one episode got extremely bad and my father was taken to jail. however, my fathers family is wealthy and constantly covered up for his mistakes as he served little to no jail time and basically no charges were filed against him. 8 years later, my family on my dads side has basically chose not to associate with me or contact me or my brother, until now. i don't know whether or not i should choose to talk to them, even if it's my aunt who was no associated in this incident. but i feel that her reaching out to me may be a gateway into the major parts of my family coming to use me or take advantage of me. it's just been so many years that i am paranoid and i don't know if i should allow them to reach out to me and come back into my life or that i should keep on with my life. any advice helps, thank you so much
Question: What present to get my colleagues, & the children I teach, when I leave my job? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 09:17 AM PDT I work in a Chinese Takeaway & have done, full-time, for the past 3 years. I'm leaving to start my career in a month or so & I want to get my colleagues a leaving present. They're like my second family, they always bring back presents for me from their holidays & they have definitely treated me well these past few years! I plan on giving the adults some scratch cards in a bouquet, they've told me how much they love to gamble ;) but I'm not sure on what to get the kids. I taught the boss' children a lot of English, there are 2 girls & a boy aged, all aged 7. At the moment they're really into pokemon & dinosaurs, but they have all the Pokemon cards already. Any ideas what I can get them? Just something small but nice. Thanks in advance.

Question: At what point do I start to remove my daughter from an ex and his family? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:04 AM PDT Its been a couple months that me and my second childs father have been separated after three or so years in the relationship and living with eachother for two. He has been in my first daughters life since she turned one and she is now four. It seems as he has moved on in such a short while and I am confident that he has not brought his new fling around my kids. However, when they do activities together they only involve my daughter (which is fine) and not me. (And not his new fling) I dont have near as a close big family as he has. So they re very active and outgoing. I guess my question is at what point of time do I start to detach my daughter from him and his family?. My two daughters relationship is close and I know unfortunately theyll have to suffer some consequences of the break up. I do not plan on bringing another man in my girls life anytime soon. Literally. I keep them away from any other Male figure other then my ex and his family. As far as not living together or being together all the time. As I should expect my second daughter dad to not feel as much of wanting to spend time with my first daughter after a while.at what point should I start detaching her and move on into accepting that eventually this wont last long? Or am I thinking this in a wrong view? I dont want to make the wrong choices or overthink. I also feel its unhealthy for me and process of moving on when I still activly involve my daughter in their family. I need real good advice and pointers. Thnx.
Question: Is there any way to explain this? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:26 PM PDT I ran into my neighbor at the store. I always talk to his wife who is extremely nice. Though I never talked to him personally. When I was walking out of the grocery store he was walking in. I kinda looked and he stopped and looked at me oddly and said "hi" in a weird voice, and then stood there. I said hi back and left. What do you think that was all about?
